Pours clear amber with a great, small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, red berries, wood, light peity smokiness and some apple notes. Fine mouthfeel with just a tad too high carbonation. Flavour is sweet at first, then smoke and wood mix well with English toffee. Super long aftertaste with dry woody notes. The red berries still show up. Lovely - and with a year on it, the carbonation may have settled.

Cask, EBF, Copenhagen.
Mild vanilla aroma from the cask, not any strong whisky caracter. Very mild and smooth. A lot of fuss about this, but more because it is hard to find than because it’s a great beer.
