COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The fourth incarnation of Brewer’s Reserve spent a year in the Fuller’s cellar in rare Comte de Lauvia Armagnac casks from the Bas region of France. The beer is infused with brandy characteristics, with distinctive notes of vanilla, green apple and cinnamon, a solid malt base and velvety alcohol warmth.

Deep dark amber-brown in colour with a steady head and smooth body. The bottle and the cartonage is really special, just to mention. The beer has a nose of hops and malt. Taste of spicy hops, white pepper, thyme, rosmary, peaches, strong alcohol, nuts and there is some gentle whiskey/wooden cask hint in the background. It was nice haven drunken such a special and limited beer.

Ruby highlighted pour. Big off white head that falls fast. Not much lacing. Nice malty aroma with hints of wood. Slight acetic note, but barely. Bit boozy in the back. Some sweetness. Decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2 x 500 ml bottle. #15626 and #30924. BBE 2022. Courtesy of Brandman. HHOK XIII.
Slightly cloudy red colour with small white head. Mild berries, some sweetness and mild bitterness in the aroma. Something nice, something quite unpleasant in the aroma. The flavour is caramel malt, mild berry bitterness, mild acidity, rosebud and mild hops. Fizzy. Not that nice, too sweet. Mild bitterness in the aftertaste.

Clear copper body, whiteish head. Aroma has sweet malts, some perries, bit sourness. Sweet malts, nuts, alcohol, very acidic, very tanninic, leaves oaked perry cider taste. Well carbonated. Very intense, really aromatic, but bit off.

Amber coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Sweet aroma, mellow and sharp notes from the cask of armagnac, different from other types of casks, a bit astringent. Flavor starts sweet, then some spicy alcohol notes. Warming alcohol. Dry texture.

Bottle @ Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours clear ruby amber with a fully lasting white head. Nose is sweet of oak, caramel and fruit. Some orange, marmelade and vanilla. Flavor is caramel, oak, vanilla and orange. Very malty with a good complexity. Easy to go at though and quite low key. Smooth and soft. Tasty.
