2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cask at Charlieís, Copenhagen. Deep golden. Aroma of fruit and hay. Sweet and hoenyish with bold, compact malt character. Honey overpowers the bitterness. Very unrefined.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned at Charlieís Bar, Copenhagen. Fullers have finally "discovered" that golden ales have been in demand for a number of years. This is their attempt at this style. Golden colour, low head. Moderate hops in aroma and flavour, but nothing special here. Disappointing.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask. Amber with smallish white head. Gentle citrus aroma, slightly malty. Fairly dry taste, hoppy. More flowery hop flavour, than citrus. A little watery. Not a bad session beer.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask @ Charlies, Cph.: Golden coloured. White head. Fresh and light herbal nose. A bit vague. Flavour is herbal and hoppy. Has some fruitnotes. Is quite thin bodied. Ends on a vague bitter note. Pretty uninteresting caskbeer, that lacks some power.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2011 Casked @Charlieís Pub
Copper brown, small white head, lace. Good nose of honey and oak. A bit metallic, woody hops. You can notice good "Fullers flavors" there but quite boring and plain. (8/4/5/2/10 2.8)
Pale honey golden color, steady creamy head. Light leafy and hoppy nose. Light body. Sweetish lemon grass flavor in the front then light leafy hops. Plain, empty and boring. (5/3/5/2/9 2.4)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pint pulled at the Whistle and Flute in Putney (complements of the voucher obtained at the GBBF), a nice amber colour with a good full head. Aroma is not strong, a hint of fruity hops. The flavour is again not strong (an ale for lager drinkers) but slightly sweetness from the hops. Very smooth in the palate (creamy even).

Cask, GBBF 05. Golden, as many beers are these days. Aromas are soft buttery malts with biscuit, citrus and gentle hops. Flavours are fresh and crisp with citrus, butter and biscuit. Merely OK.
