On tap (Cask) at the Holly Bush NW3. Golden beer with no head to speak of. Initial taste is sugary and hint of peach, but quickly dies away and hint of bile in the finish. Tastes very forced, a great disappointment from Fullers.

Cask at some pub in town. Gold, thick white head. There is something about Fullers, kind of soapy and malty that I like. Nice malt characteer, some fresh hops, pine. It’s nice this for an average English beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tombyars (1102) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - DEC 15, 2011
Tasted this in the Blackbird, Earls Court, London in July 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale amber in colour with a thin white head. Slight dusty hint of hop flowers in the very short aroma. Thin refreshing mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a digestive biscuit note with orange peel fruit present. Dry dusty hop resins redolant in the sharp bitter aftertaste. Finish is zesty with sweet citrus notes. An ok session bitter.

Pale straw color from the cask to my glass. A thin white head that sticks around for a bit and leaves rings of lacing as I quaff it. Dry hop aroma mixed with a smattering of malt. Nice hop flavor with subdued malt and biscuit. Decent session beer. Nice addition to my lunch.
