I did not detect some difference betwen Cask and Botle, so I repeate myself: Pours dark amber with yellow head. Floral / Cherry aroma and fruity sweet taste with dominant notes of cherry and caramel sweet, slightly dry finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, medium bitterness. Realy refresing good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Complex with a vinous and dried fruit quality this browny orange bitter is well built and pretty uncompromising in an old school type of way. Has lost a bit of character over the years but it is still an excellent symbol of the type of beer which was once more common than it is in todayís craft beery world.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear nutty fluid with a small off white layer. Still a nice lacing. Caramel malty, a bit fruity and mild hoppy aroma. Decent body. Quite soft carbonation. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Although it has a bit to soft carbonation. This one is still quite fresh and nice to drink. Not some dull dead caramel liquid. Fruity, herbal, hoppy and a bit toffee in the flavor. Nice ale.

Cask. Pours pale copper in color with a small foamy whitish head. Malty sweetness, hints of toffee and ripe, but mild garden fruits in aroma. Smooth mouthfeel. Slightly burnt creamy toffee, light bitterness in taste. Some nuttyness and ripe berry feeling here as well. A bit on the sweeter side perhaps, even if thereís the mild bitterness throughout here.
