Frontier is hand-crafted over 42 days combining the best of old world malts and 168 years of brewing knowledge with new world brewing techniques and hops. The blend of powerful new world hops and the distinctive Fuller’s yeast that is brewed at a higher temperature allows a deeper and more robust flavour to flood out. The brew is then carefully lagered for five weeks to fully condition the beer and give it the full and interesting flavour that differentiates it from its peers. Allowing the flavour to develop over time, Frontier is unpasteurised yet filtered to deliver the clarity our consumers have asked for. These factors combined deliver the unique taste of Frontier.
The result is a memorable beer with citrus and spicy notes, a light fizzy body and a clean refreshing taste.

Keg at the Brewery Tap, Fullers pub, Brentford. Golden colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and grainy grassy aroma. Taste is similar, malt & grain with some grassy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. OK.

On tap at Ox Row Inn. Decent enough lager, with a pleasant fruity aroma and a more traditional crisp bitterness for the mouth.

Aroma feels amazing, reveiling nice flowery hints, though it is only recognized in mouth not by nose. It highly lacks head that is typical for lagers, nontheless the colour is just what you want from a light in body summer beverage.

Light, slightly fruity aroma. Clean golden colour. Low to medium carbonation, almost no head. Taste is somewhat sweet and fruity. For a lager has much more of an edge. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Todellinen pettymys. Ei humalaa, ei mitään. Keskitäyteläinen, todella vähäisesti hiilihappoja.

Back in time (The 1980’s) it used to be said that every country in the world could make a decent lager EXCEPT England. So here we are 30 years later.....330ml can into lager glass. Subdued hop aroma, crystal clear golden amber beer with thin solid white head and a steady stream of fine bubbles. Full body, flat mouthfeel, fruity finish. A bit too sweet and doughy for my tastes but it IS a decent lager.

On draught. Golden yellow, thin white head supported by good carbonation.A hint of Fuller’s trademark caramel on the aroma. A bit light flavoured and thin body. Rather bland really, wouldn’t buy again.

330ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with a thing white head that totally disappears within a few seconds. Aroma is citrusy, almost tropical fruity, grassy hops, herbs. Taste follows suit with citrusy hops, malt, some herbs or spices. Not much bitterness to speak of. Honestly it’s not a bad effort from Fuller’s, not fantastic by any means but for a lager it’s actually pretty good. Refreshing.
