Frontier is hand-crafted over 42 days combining the best of old world malts and 168 years of brewing knowledge with new world brewing techniques and hops. The blend of powerful new world hops and the distinctive Fuller’s yeast that is brewed at a higher temperature allows a deeper and more robust flavour to flood out. The brew is then carefully lagered for five weeks to fully condition the beer and give it the full and interesting flavour that differentiates it from its peers. Allowing the flavour to develop over time, Frontier is unpasteurised yet filtered to deliver the clarity our consumers have asked for. These factors combined deliver the unique taste of Frontier.
The result is a memorable beer with citrus and spicy notes, a light fizzy body and a clean refreshing taste.

Two pints, keg at the Token House, Bank. Post-exam celebration. At over £5 a pint, you’d expect something decent. Orangey yellow, sparkling, clear, decent foamy white head. Aroma is light washing up liquid, musty lager and hay. Body is medium, spritzy, slightly foamy. Taste is crisp malts, passion fruit, lime, rhubarb. The fruitiness is subdued but just enough to make this lager interesting enough to drink over a litre of.

(Fuller’s Frontier) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 4.5% Deep golden yellow colour on the body, crystal clear. Light activity in it. Good sized white head with good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma has some hops, earthy notes, grains, light lemon zest. Nice taste, grains and fresh grass, lemon zest, light citrusy hops. Medium thin body with good carbonation. Mildly dry palate. Quite good, great thirst quencher.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of grainy malt and citrus. Taste of citrus, passion fruit and pale malt. Sweet finish. Bit thin, but that was to be expected. Nice drinkable and hoppy lager. Quite nice, especially for the style.
