COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle: Filtered
Frontier is hand-crafted over 42 days combining the best of old world malts and 168 years of brewing knowledge with new world brewing techniques and hops. The blend of powerful new world hops and the distinctive Fullerís yeast that is brewed at a higher temperature allows a deeper and more robust flavour to flood out. The brew is then carefully lagered for five weeks to fully condition the beer and give it the full and interesting flavour that differentiates it from its peers. Allowing the flavour to develop over time, Frontier is unpasteurised yet filtered to deliver the clarity our consumers have asked for. These factors combined deliver the unique taste of Frontier.
The result is a memorable beer with citrus and spicy notes, a light fizzy body and a clean refreshing taste.

On draught. Golden yellow, thin white head supported by good carbonation.A hint of Fullerís trademark caramel on the aroma. A bit light flavoured and thin body. Rather bland really, wouldnít buy again.

330ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with a thing white head that totally disappears within a few seconds. Aroma is citrusy, almost tropical fruity, grassy hops, herbs. Taste follows suit with citrusy hops, malt, some herbs or spices. Not much bitterness to speak of. Honestly itís not a bad effort from Fullerís, not fantastic by any means but for a lager itís actually pretty good. Refreshing.

Can from Slow Beer 280516. The beer comes in a nice looking can and the contents within arenít that bad either. Initially when I poured the beer into a glass I didnít think it was going to be any good as it looked a bit thin and flat. Pours a clear orange colour with a small flat head. This beer has a lot more body to it than the appearance would lead you to believe. There is a mixture of orange and pepper in the flavour and a peppery burn that comes through in the aftertaste. All in all for a premium lager this beer is quite good and is certainly a lot better than the majority of beers that I have had of the same style.

Tap at heathrow terminal 2 pub Pours bright orange with a nice fizzy white head lots of cascading carbonation. Nose of nicely toasted grains lite spicy German hops and lite crackers. Very nice nose. Flavors follow suit with lots of pale cracker malts lite spicy hops and some mineral/sulifer character. Very decent little brew.

High hopes for a great beer , but dashed by a pale bland flavour, a good looking beer, slight citrus , it disappears too quick on the tongue , maybe try again another day, probably a good summer beer.

Drank from a 330ml can. Decent enough drink but too bland and not stacking up to most other craft beers in terms of overall quality. It does seem to have a slightly metallic aftertaste which doesnít help.
