COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle: Filtered
Frontier is hand-crafted over 42 days combining the best of old world malts and 168 years of brewing knowledge with new world brewing techniques and hops. The blend of powerful new world hops and the distinctive Fullerís yeast that is brewed at a higher temperature allows a deeper and more robust flavour to flood out. The brew is then carefully lagered for five weeks to fully condition the beer and give it the full and interesting flavour that differentiates it from its peers. Allowing the flavour to develop over time, Frontier is unpasteurised yet filtered to deliver the clarity our consumers have asked for. These factors combined deliver the unique taste of Frontier.
The result is a memorable beer with citrus and spicy notes, a light fizzy body and a clean refreshing taste.

Crisp and not too heavy like some of the lagers over here. No real aroma but a little grassy. Husband says honey, not smelling it myself. Tap in Bath, England.

Keg at Market Tavern, Durham, £4.59/pint Pours light/amber with moderate carbonation and a thick, frothy, enduring white head. Aroma is floral with pronounced citrus and ripe tropical fruits. New world hops come through strong on a smooth, medium/thin palate giving citrus flavour and low bitterness. An interesting and excellent lager.

Piss yellow. No aroma or taste to speak of but it's got a nice crisp texture on the finish. Mediocre.

A lager, really?

Bottled (from Prisma, Vaasa). Golden colour, small white head, which vanished rather fast. Aroma is floral, wooden, herbal and a nice maltiness to it. Flavour is floral, fruity, some earthy and mild grainy notes. I must say, rather typical Fullerís taste to it, yet a bit more grainy than usual. Still nice hopping to it (I like this kind of British hopping, actually!).

Poured from bottle, clear gold with high fizzy head. Aroma with notes of bread, hay and lots of citrus. Taste is refreshingly bitter with some underlying sweentess ending a long slightly bitter dry finish. Nice!
