COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle: Filtered
Frontier is hand-crafted over 42 days combining the best of old world malts and 168 years of brewing knowledge with new world brewing techniques and hops. The blend of powerful new world hops and the distinctive Fullerís yeast that is brewed at a higher temperature allows a deeper and more robust flavour to flood out. The brew is then carefully lagered for five weeks to fully condition the beer and give it the full and interesting flavour that differentiates it from its peers. Allowing the flavour to develop over time, Frontier is unpasteurised yet filtered to deliver the clarity our consumers have asked for. These factors combined deliver the unique taste of Frontier.
The result is a memorable beer with citrus and spicy notes, a light fizzy body and a clean refreshing taste.

Pint draught (keg, this is lager) @ Victoria, Paddington, London. Dark golden colour, clear, lightly bubbling. This is a balanced premium lager - a bit more body than in pale lager, some hops also. Not a great lager, though. Good when you are thirsty.

Pint from tap at pub in London. Clear, moderate carbonation. Sweet bisuity nose. Great body-- creamy and smooth with a slightly sharp carbonated finish. Taste is clean, somewhere between bitter and sweet, bready, but without any dominating flavors. Nicely balanced. Drinkable and enjoyable.

Bottle bought at the Brewey. The beer starts malty with hints of grain. Round and smooth but not too intense. Smooth, mild and a bit grain in the aftertaste. Hints of bitterness, crisp, round and ok.

33 cl. bottle at the courtesy of my Norwegian friends, sorry mates I did not note whom of you. Medium high lasting fluffy white head. Clear amber golden body. Very sweet honey pear aroma. Mild smooth apple pear honey flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish.

Keg at the Three Guineas, Reading. Deep gold. Fizz is rather prickly and aggressive for my liking. Once past the fizz though there was some sweet maltiness balanced against dry lemon, a little lime and a light grassy bitterness in the crisp, clean finish. Iím normally no fan of lagers but this is certainly one of the less bad ones. Quite drinkable actually.
