It had a perfectly rounded taste, little smokeyness, sweet, strong alcohol and yet very accessable. I drank it in cafe het centrum in horst as a temporary draft.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Pours in deep brown with a nose of a simple bock. Taste is the same. Bit sweetish and mass of alcohol. Not mine and the first mediocre Fuller´s of my life.

Bottle shared with happy hubby MichaelBruch. Pours in in a deep gold colour with steady head. Taste is like a Heller Bock, means taste of strong alcohol, rich malt, thick caramel, butterscotch and liquid honey. Nice one.

50 cl, bottled. Pours clear red with a beige head. Aroma: Caramel, berries, malt, spices. Taste: Sweet, banana and herbal flavours. Some pleasant bitterness. Palate: Medium bodied, noticeable carbonation. Alcohol background. Pretty good one.

Bottle. Pours clear deep amber colour, with small light brown head. Rich and intensive sweety aroma of orange, peach, ananas, caramel. Full bodied ale, lightly sweet at the start, but then turns into a bitter aftertaste. You can feel the taste of smoke and cask wood in the mouth. There is also a sign of alcohol in the background. Very nice balanced beer.

Draught:
Medium white head which disappears slowly on top of an almost clear amber colored beer.
Smell malts, sweat, dust, iron, strange smell but not bad.
Taste malts, vanilla, creamy banana, creamy barley malts, light bitter, herbs and a hint of honey.
Aftertaste is medium bitter, there’s barleys and wheat and there is some malty herbs all creamy packed
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a thicker creamy light oily texture
Decent beer but a bit dull...

Bottle 50 cl. Pours clear amber in color with an whitish head. Red berries, alcohol and sweetness in aroma. A bit dry mouthfeel. Was afraid that the alcohol would be coming through in taste, but instead the flavor is overtaken by toffee, some mild berries and grains, which is nice. Sweet finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a small rigid white head. Colour hazy gold copper. Aroma of plum. Taste is alcoholic, heavy malt and medium sweetness. Some biscuit and red wine notes. Finish strong and malty. Lovely beer.

Bernsteinfarbenes Ale mit mittelprächtigem Schaum. Hopfig-würziges Aroma mit Alkoholfahne. Im Antrunk dann etwas overpowered, stark alkoholisch. Hat im Geschmack dennoch die typische Würze eines Ales mit diesem leicht fruchtigem Einschlag. Der Abgang ist lang, holzig-herb, aber auch wärmend vom Alkohol. Insgesamt ein ordentliches Ale, dass mit weniger Alkohol süffiger, ausgewogener und gelungener wäre.
