COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cranberry Honey Dew is also brewed to 5.0% a.b.v., and shares the light, refreshing character of the original. This version has a slightly deeper, richer colour, whilst a dash of pure organic cranberry juice in the brew adds a dry, fruity note, perfectly balancing the sweetness of the honey.

First tasted this in Gabriels, Paisley in April 1997. Cask, handpump dispense. Pale orange amber in colour with a thin creamy white head. Sweet floral note of honey evident in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a sweet shortbread biscuit base with refreshing clear honey flavours not cloying in the mouth. Dusty hop resins add a slight bitterness to the short aftertaste. The smooth finish has a warming alcoholic mead note which slips down a treat. One of the better honey style ales out there and a refreshing summer session ale. Well recommended.

A very good beer with the honey aroma shining through but the cranberries are almost non-existent unless that it they are there just to give this beer a slightly bitterer edge than the common or garden honeydew.

White head on a nice orange body. Very fruity, the honey is obvious but I couldn’t sense any cranberries. Very nice drinking in the Spring. Nice combination of fruits and hops.

The aroma is sweet and fruity. The color is a beutiful orange and it has a beutiful head. The flavor starts out is nicely sweet malty with strong notes of honey before the bitterness from the cranberries hits the palate. The sweetness turns a little funny artificial in the end. An OK beer but for the artificial note.

Extremely obvious honey aroma. Nice dry flavor. I really can't sense the cranberry. A pleasant beer, in spite the lack of cranberry this one is still better than the normal Honey Dew.

Very very sweet and very very thin. The large amount of honey in this beer makes it very unpleasant. And the cranberries are not very noticeable.

Sweet honey aroma. Golden liquid with white fizzy head. Wow what a refreshing taste, malts cerial, honey and a twist of cranberry. Fuller deliver the goods again. A great summery beer.
