Mainly bottle conditioned; Special. Has been seen on cask.

Brewed in the traditional style that became a favourite royal court, this limited edition Imperial Stout has been specially created as a single brew. In a unique addition to the historic recipe, the floral character of the Centennial hops is enhanced by the inclusion of rose buds, lending a hint of Turkish delight flavour to the beer. This Imperial Stout has a rich, dark appearance with strong chocolate and deep cherry notes which lead to a lighter, bitter finish.

Bottle shared with McTapps especially for Christmas. Well, it was not a disappointment. Dark as the night with millions of of roasted coffee malts, some dark chocolate and with a decent bitter finish. There is maybe a bit of sourness in the back, but that warm and dark chocolate will top it. Ah yes, and some alcohol is coming with it - but will not really notice it. Good one.

0,5L bottle, BB 2023. Pours jet black with nice tan head. The head disappears rather quickly. Aroma is sweet, liquor, roast malt, slightly burnt, coffee. Taste is very roasty, coffee, hints of alcohol, dark chocolate bitterness, sweetness and fruits are in the background. Finish has strong lingering coffee bitterness with liquor and nice alcohol burn. It is full-bodied creamy with soft carbonation. Overall: really nice imperial stout.

Pours out of the bottle in a deep dark black colour with very low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and torf. Taste of rich malt, torf, vanilla, leaves, woods, forrest, caramel and nuts. Earthy hints. Beautiful taste and very nice to drink. High enjoyable.

Lost the rate I wrote down....remember the scores though - recall this was a bit boozy - did have a floral edge. Aroma was more subdued than expected, some dark chocolate...perhaps not quite as good as I expected...it was a 3.7

Pours pitch black with a foamy tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts, chocolate, toffee, caramel, burnt toast, cocoa, a hint of licorice. Taste is on par with the aroma. Delicious. Paired really well with dark roast meat and gravy for dinner. Body is rich and creamy, mininal carbonation so very easy drinking.

Bottle at the Night of Garbage, big thanks to Kenny. It pours near black with a medium tan head. The nose is sweet roast, toast, blackcurrant, blueberry, jam, dark chocolate and charred wood. The taste is bitter-sweet, jammy, blackcurrant, caramel, toast, coffee, cocoa, liquorice, wood and some boiled sweets. Medium-full body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Good depth of flavour. Smooth and rather drinkable. Nice work Fullers!
