cask and bottled, special
Brewed in the traditional style that became a favourite royal court, this limited edition Imperial Stout has been specially created as a single brew. In a unique addition to the historic recipe, the floral character of the Centennial hops is enhanced by the inclusion of rose buds, lending a hint of Turkish delight flavour to the beer. This Imperial Stout has a rich, dark appearance with strong chocolate and deep cherry notes which lead to a lighter, bitter finish.

Ulfborg weekend celebration of nothing in particular. Black with a lasting, creamy, tan head. Aroma of licorice, chocolate, fruit and toffee, with a faint hint of signature marmalade. Sweetish roasted flavour with licorice and fruity notes. Full bodied with warming alcohol. Quite hard roasted, ashy finish

Bottle @ Scooper Tasting in Ulfborg. Pours cloudy nearly black with airy tan head. Dark aroma of coffe, malt and alcohol, with fruity touches. Sweet, malty and caramellish flavour, with notes of coffee. Warming alcohol presence. Sweetish and boozy aftertaste. Good. I just love the style.

Sample at a Systembolaget tasting. Sweet and chocolaty smell with dark musty bread. Similar taste. Feels well made. Not a monster but very pleasant.

500 ml bottle. BBE 2023. Ruby & Fellas, Tampere, Finland. Pitch black colour with a small tan head. Roasted malt, berries and a whole lot of darkness in the aroma. The flavour is surprisingly easy and light for a 10.7% Imperial Stout. Roasted malt, berries, mild bitterness and some sweetness in the flavour. It could be better a bit more matured. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Sweet and boozy. Full bodied. Smooth. Notes of toffee, chocolate, dark fruits and burned sugar. A bit vinous. Superbly balanced. Powerful, yet enormously drinkable. Me like!
