COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mainly bottle conditioned; Special. Has been seen on cask.

Brewed in the traditional style that became a favourite royal court, this limited edition Imperial Stout has been specially created as a single brew. In a unique addition to the historic recipe, the floral character of the Centennial hops is enhanced by the inclusion of rose buds, lending a hint of Turkish delight flavour to the beer. This Imperial Stout has a rich, dark appearance with strong chocolate and deep cherry notes which lead to a lighter, bitter finish.

Tror denne ville gått rett hjem hos Vladimir P.

Bottle thanks to anon. Pours a really dark brown and is topped by a medium beige ring that leaves some lacing. Nose is lightly boozy but mostly showcases roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is sweet but not too sweet, offers some nice chocolate flavors and a little caramel. Minimal ash on the finish. Body is of course full, carbonation moderate. Alcohol warms you a little but is in no way "hot". A really classy beer!

---Rated via Beer Buddy by Sátyro

Pich black beer that fills the glass like motoroil. The beigebrown head is two fingers high.

Nose: Vanilla, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, milk, butter, soy sauce, molasses and some alcohol.

Taste: Licorice, red berries, molasses, caramel, roasted malt, chocolate and coffee.

Medium carbonation and a full body.

Black with a soapy beige head, lovely aroma of bitter chocolate and currants. A faint leathery vein in that nose. Very boozy flavour, with roasted malts, bitter, all smooth, but rather uninsteresting and thin on the palate. Not sweet enough, too boozy. Better with a good scoop of hokey-pokey ice cream in it.

Black colour with a dark head. Distinct aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and some vinous and sour notes. Also some smell of tar. Strong taste with a great coffeebitterness and dark chocolate rounded by a clear taste of cacao. A warming mothfeel from the alcohol. Some dry and sour hints. Some liqourice, soy and grassy hops. Thick but still crispy mothhfeel.

As refined a beer as you will find - from the tasteful packaging through the austere nose and round palate. Hides the alcohol well. Perhaps not brimming with flavour, but I look forward to seeing what age does to this. The rose makes an appearance about half way through the chilled bottle and gives a subtle and exotic touch to the brew. Fullers are amazing.
