Mainly bottle conditioned; Special. Has been seen on cask.

Brewed in the traditional style that became a favourite royal court, this limited edition Imperial Stout has been specially created as a single brew. In a unique addition to the historic recipe, the floral character of the Centennial hops is enhanced by the inclusion of rose buds, lending a hint of Turkish delight flavour to the beer. This Imperial Stout has a rich, dark appearance with strong chocolate and deep cherry notes which lead to a lighter, bitter finish.

Bottle at the Night of Garbage, big thanks to Kenny for turning up with this Brucey Bonus, 20/12/13 up a shit load of stairs ! Light to mid black with a good sized light tan head that retains well. Nose is dark fruits, light roast, spice, dark berry fruit. Taste comprises rich chocolate, dark malt, brown sugars, dark berry fruits, light roast, subtle booze notes. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, dry finale with light roast and sweet tones. Nice impy, easy drinking affair, definate re-visit !

The (not so) shit beer tasting at Leightons stratospheric flat. Opaque dark brown beer with a good pale tan head. Palate is airy, light and semi dry. The dark malts are not too heavy and carry just a touch of roast. Little malt cream and blackcurrant fruits. Touch of coffee. Light mildy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

500 ml bottle. Black pour, creamy tan head. Looks superb. Chocolate, coffee, wood, some leather in the aroma. Intense coffee, dark chocolate and bitter flavour. Thick, robust mouthfeel. Long, warming alcohol finish, touches of dark fruits. Lovely.

Bottle. Pours heavy black with a big but shortlasting Brown head. Slightly too sweet, otherwise a nice brew with chocolate, leather and some dark fruits.

Bottle shared with McTapps especially for Christmas. Well, it was not a disappointment. Dark as the night with millions of of roasted coffee malts, some dark chocolate and with a decent bitter finish. There is maybe a bit of sourness in the back, but that warm and dark chocolate will top it. Ah yes, and some alcohol is coming with it - but will not really notice it. Good one.
