COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mainly bottle conditioned; Special. Has been seen on cask.

Brewed in the traditional style that became a favourite royal court, this limited edition Imperial Stout has been specially created as a single brew. In a unique addition to the historic recipe, the floral character of the Centennial hops is enhanced by the inclusion of rose buds, lending a hint of Turkish delight flavour to the beer. This Imperial Stout has a rich, dark appearance with strong chocolate and deep cherry notes which lead to a lighter, bitter finish.

2015-03-12. Black body with a small tan head. 3++ Aroma is lightly roasty, modest fruity notes. Light cocoa and dusty malt notes. 7+ Flavour is rich dark malt, lightly bitter lingering cocoa roast. Smooth average plus to medium bodied palate, moderate carbonation. 3++ Pretty straightforward - perhaps deceptively so - but rather nice imperial stout. Bottle from the LCBO shared by HogtownHarry.

Bottle. English beer #1000! Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter roasted flavor. KLong heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. lacks some balance. A little disapointing, but still a nice brew.

Bottle of 50cl, boxed, in a pint glass; room temperature. Woaw, that was one of the best stout I’ve ever try. Great deep dark colour (the light won’t pass through it). Little creamy brown fuzzy head. Great and powerfull aroma of dark cherries; as the taste which is overhelmed by cherries and chocolate (with notes of roses). Go buy it ! Now !

Mar 2015 - 500ml, boxed, 10.7%, 2013 vintage. Black, big foamy tan head if forced. Head doesn’t endure. Aroma is chocolate syrup, wholewheat bread, booze. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is liquorice forward, lots of bready malt, spice and booze, chocolate, grassy finish. None of the rose petal comes through. Very nice.

Black color, brown head - Intense roasted malt, aroma of strong black coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, dark fruits, especially plums, some earthy hops - slightly sweet at first, heavily bitter taste afterwards - full body, rather smooth and creamy texture, soft to average carbonation - long bitter finish with hints of roasted malt and coffee beans.

Bottle on Eurostar or Thalys London - Brussels - Rotterdam, Friday 13th March 2015 in company of Dad & Barry Cracked open shortly after zipping through Mechelen, still drinking as we arrived in Answer Centraal. Black as yer at, with a tan head. both smooth and tangalicious at the same time. Oily, tangy, and with a roasty bitterness. Really enjoying this, some hops showing, nice floral and chocolate combination, really good. A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.0

Pours pitch black with a brown head and nice lacing. The taste is of dark fruits, chocolate, coffee, toasted malts and boozy. Excellent as a sipping beer, and will age quite nicely I think.
