COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mainly bottle conditioned; Special. Has been seen on cask.

This limited edition brew is a unique collaboration between brewery and beer writer. Melissa Cole brought her vast experience to the tasting table and helped us deliver a stout worth writing home about.

Brewed in the traditional style that became a favourite royal court, this limited edition Imperial Stout has been specially created as a single brew. In a unique addition to the historic recipe, the floral character of the Centennial hops is enhanced by the inclusion of rose buds, lending a hint of Turkish delight flavour to the beer. This Imperial Stout has a rich, dark appearance with strong chocolate and deep cherry notes which lead to a lighter, bitter finish.

Pours pitch black with a nice beige head that diminishes to a rim. Boozy cognac with dark chocolate and some tobacco notes, wonderful. Same tobacco flavor, rumy, chocolate, vinous, amazingly drinkable and balanced. Medium to heavy palate, finishes with a very gentle boozy aftertaste. Remarkable.

Wow. Virkelig en øl der vil noget. Nydt med et lækkert stykke chokolade. Flot mørk ø’l, med tilpas bitterhed.

Where and how: b. 500 ml 204 Vintage
Aroma:aromatic hop, alcohol well muted but present, mild hint of prunes, soft molasses. Clean work.
Appearance :
Top: medium plus off-white top. Lasting, rocky, creamy head.
Base: dark brown.
Palate : medium full bodied with average carbonation. Good drinkability. Solid long finish.
Taste: dry alcohol up front, I must say it was fairly rough even after 2 years. Very nice choice of dark malts. As you drink it gets mellower and softer. Dark chocolate with roast at finish.

Sådan skal en stout smage! Uhm.

Breja bem cara.

Bottle at home, 2nd January 16. Pours black with a lovely white, tan fluffy head. Aroma is slightly perfumed, smoked malts, liquorice, chocolate. Taste is slight salty liquorice, creamy chocolate, coffee, floral notes. Very nice overall
