Wow, love the taste of this one. Bitterness lingers leaving citrus, grassy notes. Pours a deep gold, head dissipates quickly. Really is a tonic

Pours light amber, white head. Aroma is berry, hay, caramel. Caramel and biscuit really come through in the flavour, beautifully balanced, lasting fruity and earthy finish. Really well done, Fullers kicks butt with their caramel crispness, helps me appreciate the style.

500 ml bottle bought at Oliver’s The Delicatessen in Central.

Clear golden amber colour; One and a half finger head and crumpety off-white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Some sticky lacing with lively carbonation; Fragrant aroma of honey, sweet malt, grapefruit, orange, light lime, and light grass; Mid to light sweet taste of malt, with grapefruit, molasses, light orange, light lime and light grass; Medium body, quite thick and slick palate; Hoppiness is well expressed in nose (pretty nice grapefruit) but weak in both taste (light grapefruit) and bitterness (VERY light grassy hops). Low astringency is lasting but ended with a wimp. Duh! Fairly dry after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: A disappointment for sure. It tastes more like a timid Pale Ale than an IPA. Having Golding for the nose is nice and it shows, but hop taste and bitterness -so important for an IPA - is in real short supply. Everything is okay except the hoppiness. Easily quaffable to wash down a hearty meals. For hop addicts, though, please look elsewhere.

MiP (12136) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 8, 2013
Bottle, 5.3%. The aroma has a strange fruitiness, not entirely pleasant, but gives way to a more light, watery fruit note afterwards. Clear dark golden colour. Small, quite stable frothy white head. The flavour has a good, clean bitterness and a little floral aroma hop note. Clean and pleasant.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber with airy white head. Clear hoppy aroma with a mild citrus note. Intense but not aggressive hoppy flavour with subtle grassy touches. A decent IPA.

Första intrycket är mesigt. Men efter lite mat växer den. Till en vitmögel öst vaknar den till liv. Så jag vet inte riktigt hur jag ska bedöma den.

Bottle, pours clear gold with bubbly fading head. Light grassy smell. Light malt, hops and grassy citrus taste. Suggestion of sour fruit palate with medium length. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lagerboy (668) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 28, 2013
Unclear golden orange, foamy off white head slowly settles and eventually fades. Aroma of citrus grassy hops and caramel malt. Soft earthy floral bitter hop taste, citrus and fruity, light caramel malts, some faint pine. Nicely balanced. Softly carbed, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Sweetens as it warms, citrus grassy bitter finish. Lightly complex for a mellow English IPA. Good. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

THVB (23) - NETHERLANDS - APR 24, 2013
Bottle at home (april 20, 2013). Clear golden with frothy white head. Aroma of pilsner malts, honey and cleaning products. Tastes like a macro lager with a hint of floral and a bit citrussy hops, again the cleaning products. Mouthfeel is thin. Not recommended.

lusikka (4039) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 6, 2013
500 ml bottle. Rated on 9.10.2010.
Pours a copper colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, hay and some citrusy notes. Flavour of sweet and quite heavy malts, citrus, hay and biscuit. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Way too sweet and malty.
