**** Rated 10.04.2011 as Fullers India Pale Ale. Some admin has moved my rating from under that to "Bengal Lancer", yet these two beers are not merged. What gives? Anyway, I am moving this back now.**** Bottle. Amber body, brief head. Light caramel aroma with mellow hops. Remains a bit unadventurous despite the satisfying bitterness which reveals itself in the aftertaste.

Clear golden/ orange with a medium white head and effervescent carbonatation. Aroma is orange mermelade with same orange and tea like bitternes in the flavor with a gentle herbal aftertaste. Medium palate, firm and enjoyable.

500 ml bottle from Jumbo Costanera Center. Pours a clear and shiny orange/copper color with a dense, creamy white head that shows good retention and never disappears. Mild, subtle (for an IPA) hoppy aroma. It has notes of various green herbs, lemon peel, apples and olives. A bit of hay and cereals serve as counterbalance. Taste is also subtle and elegant: Medium bitterness with a tad of malty sweetness. Hop flavors shine with green tea, soft citrus, cucumber and lemongrass. Great caressing subtelty. This is a classy sessionable ale. Body is light to medium, finely carbonated, refreshing and quaffable. This is another solid quality Ale from Fullerís lineup.

Colore dorato carico, molta schiuma cremosa e fine. Odore tenue, erbaceo, floreale. In bocca poco frizzante, prevalgono le note dolci del malto, líamaro emerge poco.

On tap at "na 7. schode", Zilina. ABV info on keg: 5.0% Pours is clear light amber to dark orange, thick creamy persistent white head. Aroma of caramel and honey, floral and fruity, passion fruit, hints of red orange. Taste is little less promising than aroma, light to medium bitter, light sweet with some acidic notes in the background, caramel and biscuity mouthfeel. 0.5 bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Clear to hazy golden orange with small but lasting off white head. Light aroma of floral hops, malty background, honey. Light bitter, light hoppy, dry. More like a pale ale. Light body. Malty character.

Aroma: light floral and grassy hops, some bread malts. Appearance: clear gold, small, frothy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: floral hops, some hay, light fruitiness, grass. Overall: somewhat boring English-style IPA. Bottle at The George & Vulture.

Copenhagen 15/8 2015. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Label has a classic design where you can picture gentlemen sipping this beer at Diogenes Club. Pours clear dark yellow - almost orange - with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam with some lacing on the side of the glass. Citrus aroma with perfumed notes. Soft carbonation. Taste is quite bitter but a bit watery. Citrus and lemon notes and not much sweetness. Dry finish. Fine IPA leaving a nice bitter and sour citrus behind.

Beautiful persistent foam. Aroma of flower and hops. The taste is - as expected - full of good hops with floral hints and faint caramel which finally adds a little sweetness in the taste. A very simple and accessible IPA, leaning close up of an ESB. Fuller is probably almost the only brewery I know who is able to brew beer that is very precise in its type correctness.
