At just on cool and into a Fullerís pint. Looks good in the glass. Hazed over orange amber body, well conditioned and retaining of a loose, foamy, off-white crown. Herbaceous, floral and resinous whole hops on the nose; it oozes with ripe peach and apricot, pot pourri, sticky marmalade, vine clippings and a strange lick of sweet/sour sauce. A little caramel and fresh baked bread in there also. Quite a potent brew melding sticky and tangy citrus esters, bold toasted and biscuity rich malts and a backdrop of floral and herbal UK hops. A lasting bitterness on and into the swallow with a lot of residual fruit sugars reminiscent of candied orange, peach and apricot. Becomes nutty in the malt department late into drinking. The body forever meaty and chunky. Not exactly session stuff, but delicious none the less. A well made British IPA! (50cL, BB 28/06/13, Liquor Baronís Ocean Reef)

Not my sort of IPA, Poured a medium amber, malty pallet and ok bitterness but was just lacking something. easy to drink but wanted more of the classic big english IPA bite

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 500ml. *** Colour: Hazy amber, big off-white head. *** Nose: Mix of pinewood and toffee notes, some spices, orange peel. *** Mouthfeel: Medium body, a bit watery. Medium carbonation. *** Taste: Tropical fruit, mild pinewood, some leather, hints of toffee and licorice at first. hops and toffee malt in the intriguing middle, again with a bit of licorice. Medicinal notes, pine and resin in the finish, long after taste of toffee, pine and some lemon. *** Impressions: Different label, same complex, fascinating beer as always. Lots of different spices, fine malty depth, and still unmistakeably an IPA. Not only one of Fullerís best beers, but one of the best of its style overall. Great beer!

Bottle - Clear light amber colour, medium, mostly lasting off-white head. Lightly toasted malty aromas, some biscuit, caramel and herbal and fruity hops. Taste is bittersweet with caramel, lightly toasted malts, bread and fruity notes. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, a bit grassy and gently bitter finish. Nice, well balanced classic English IPA.

Pours a dark amber with a thin but long lasting head and good lace. The taste is bready malts, caramel, hint of citrus and bitterness at the end. Doesnít over coat your tongue making it more refreshing than most IPAís.

Mostly old school style with woody overtones and layers of daggy red fruits. Metal shavings back palate. Quite pleasant but not compelling. (Villa Market 175 baht).

Sin mucho aroma (malta, alcohol). Sin demasiada espuma. Escasa carbonataciůn. Ni rastro de lķpulos o de algo distintivo en el sabor. Sosa, mediocre, aburrida.

Bottle. Aroma and taste is malt, soap, caramel, some pine and some fruity hops. A boring ipa.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2016 On tap (from keg) at Ox Row Inn. Cloudy pale copper with a decent head. Perhaps I am too used to New World IPAs, but for me this is all malts and not enough hops. Itís OK, just a different interpretation of the style.

Clear, red color. In the glass with small quickly disappearing head. Carbonation is medium. Sharp aroma of hops. Bitterness is more than medium.
