At just on cool and into a Fullerís pint. Looks good in the glass. Hazed over orange amber body, well conditioned and retaining of a loose, foamy, off-white crown. Herbaceous, floral and resinous whole hops on the nose; it oozes with ripe peach and apricot, pot pourri, sticky marmalade, vine clippings and a strange lick of sweet/sour sauce. A little caramel and fresh baked bread in there also. Quite a potent brew melding sticky and tangy citrus esters, bold toasted and biscuity rich malts and a backdrop of floral and herbal UK hops. A lasting bitterness on and into the swallow with a lot of residual fruit sugars reminiscent of candied orange, peach and apricot. Becomes nutty in the malt department late into drinking. The body forever meaty and chunky. Not exactly session stuff, but delicious none the less. A well made British IPA! (50cL, BB 28/06/13, Liquor Baronís Ocean Reef)

Clear, red color. In the glass with small quickly disappearing head. Carbonation is medium. Sharp aroma of hops. Bitterness is more than medium.

On tap at the brewery. Blunt hop aroma (a good kind of bluntness!), fairly standard bitter-hops finish. This is a straightforward hoppy IPA, and that is hardly a criticism. Solid, if not spectacular.

Malts and caramel, hoppy profile, deep orange with a goood and quite persistant white head, malts and hoppy, dry finish... i very appreciate an ipa that wasnít a fruit salad like many crafts today.

0,5l bottle. at schwarzer rabe, Vienna. bb 01/2018. lime, herbal, light sweetness, light papery. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes light citric, light buttery, cardboard, tobacco, very lightly fruity (in background), peppery. finishes lightly bitter with citric notes, pepper and some cardboard. ok ish, but too cardboardy.

Keg @ Old Bank Of England, Fleet Street, London. Deeper clear golden with a small creamy head. Crisp tasting with s mild dry IPA character including some, but not much fruitiness behind a slightly more dominant hoppiness. Thereís a dry sweetness too.

0.5 l bottle. Pours orange-deep golden color with thick foamy white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of hops, some malts, yeast notes. In taste itís somehow sweet at first an then bitterness takes over. Short finish, not too heavy bodied. A bit thin.

Aroma reminds me of something from the bathroom. Maybe the soap or the shower curtain. Caramelish pine tree. Bitterness takes over the sweetness.
