Pub (4123), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Feb 19, 2004 Cask Conditioned at The Mad Bishop & Bear, Padington Station. Light amber colour with bubbly lacy head. Dry crisp IPA with a solid malt crystal background. A pleasant dry Goldings flavour, I'm begining to pick this out now, that is as fresh as the day they were picked. Much better on cask than bottled. Ethereal (927), London, Greater London, England May 31, 2008 Cask at the Prince Blucher, Strawberry Hill, 23rd April 2008. Dark-ish copper in colour with a robust hoppy aroma. Toffee and brown sugar flavours are balanced by good hop bitterness and the result is a smooth, highly drinkable beer. madsberg (4374), Bangalore, India May 25, 2005 Cask @ KØ 2005: Golden coloured. Clear. Almost no head. Aroma is fresh and mildly fruity. Some malts and hops are present. Flavour is light hoppy with a somewhat flowery undertone. Quite refreshing. Ends on a light bitter note. Find this to be a pleasant sessionbeer, that I could drink all night. thewolf (3983), Kolding, Denmark Jun 5, 2007 Cask @ YNWA. Pours a clear golden copper-like amber. A small foamy head with some lacing. Mild aroma with a weak floral hoppyness. Mild and dry mouthfeel with a good dose of flowery hops. Despite the alcohol content, it feels warming and well-balanced. Svesse (1818), Hässelby, Sweden May 5, 2007 (Cask at Jugged Hare, Victoria, London 25 Apr 2007) Amber colour with brief foamy head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grapefruit and orange. Fruity, hoppy taste with grapefruit, orange peel and citrussy, floral hops in the finish. Medium to light body. Rather one dimensional, but very nice hop character.
