UPDATED: JUL 3, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Reddish brown without much of a head. Surprisingly full-bodied considering the low alcohol. Sweetish and fruity (with added blackberries) but never cloying. On the contrary this is rather refreshing. A positive surprise. 030204

Bottled 50cl. Bottle from www.bierzwerg.de. Appearance: Beautiful amber colored with a sticky spotty lace. Decent head retention. Aroma: Raisin and crystal malt in the nose. Not much blackberry showing up- at least it doesnít add to my appreciation of this beer. Taste and palate: Faintly nutty taste where marshmallows show up. Boring. I could do with more hops. Low bitterness. Sweet with caramel being rather present. Overall impression: I prefer many Fullers over this one.

17-SEP-2010, bottle @home, from "Fakta". Ordinary charamelly ale with a darker fruitier note that the lable says is from blackberries. I would not call this a fruit beer. The berries just add a little complexity to the base ale. Anyway, nothing special.

Bottled 500ml. - from the London Pride store in Ljubljana, shared with Marko and heavy.
Clear amber coloured, small off-white head, caramel and barnyard in the nose. Malty, caramel and bready with mild but pleasant fruity notes. A bit too sweet finish but no matter, ok beer.

A clear orange color with a short lived off white head. Quite malty, nearly rock candy sweet scent. Has a good balance, dances between sweet and has that Fullerís mineral saltiness to it. Canít quite pull blackberries from it but does have that somewhat fruity quality. Decent tangy finish.
