A clear orange color with a short lived off white head. Quite malty, nearly rock candy sweet scent. Has a good balance, dances between sweet and has that Fullerís mineral saltiness to it. Canít quite pull blackberries from it but does have that somewhat fruity quality. Decent tangy finish.

Aroma: caramel malts, dark berries, winter spices. Appearance: amber red/brown colour, frothy medium to small head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: light bitterness appearing, low carbonation, medium body. Overall: niche Premium Bitter, loving the winter spices. Bottle at The Jugged Hare, London.

Roughly frothy ESB that the brewery chose to launch up to Christmas and therefore call a Christmas ale. It has a fresh aroma, the light soft fruit shines through with a little gentle hops. The taste is evident of blackberry contributing with good body and a little acidity that keeps a pleasant hoppy bitterness. As Christmas ale / winter ale, I think it is entirely wrong, but as an exciting alternative to the many harvest brew I think itís very good. The freshness, acidity and good body makes it well suited to the season, but Fullerís other repertoire is far more exciting than Jack Frost.

Draught, medium stable bubbly head, clear copper to red color, frutiy aroma of plums and nectarine with some light caramel and light cakey maltiness, flavor of plums and cherries with some caramel behind and a just a hint of biscuity maltiness, fruity almost piercing sourness, light bitterness, long fruity aftertaste with a touch of hay. Good and very refreshing, nice twist on tradition,

Draught at Porter & Sons. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, honey, caramel and some berries. Sweet flavor with caramel candy, berries, a bit of honey, a tart hint and a drier finish, with a bitterish touch. Medium-bodied. Kinda OK, a bit too sweet.

On-tap at Porter&Sons. Clear amber brown with a huge creamy head. Caramel and bread aroma some fruitiness and spicy herbal notes. Sweet malty flavors, berries, honey, caramel, a bit metallic, a bit sour, dried fruit, some bitterness, but quite short finish. Thin bodied, grainy mouthfeel, light carbonation. Not bad but expected for more from Fullerís.

Draught at Porter and Sons, Tel Aviv. Clear reddish brown with white head. Dominant fruity-berry aroma, some cherry. Very malty and once the annoying taste from the fruit evaporates, toastiness takes over and makes it better. Medium body, light grainy aftertaste.

Clear reddish amber beer with blonde head. Aroma has sweet marmeladey berries, malts and sense of fresh hops. Flavor has malts and bitterness. Palate is medium full and creamy with heavy carbonation. Finish has quite strong bitterness. Aftertaste is malty sweet with marmaladey berries, fruits and nuts. A crisply hopped ESB and the berries fit in perfectly.
