Half pint shared with Finn, cask by handpump at NWAF ’13. Bright amber coloured body, fragile lacing to the glassware. Resinous hops to the nose. Juicy malt taste character supported by caramel and bitter berries towards the ending. Nice winter session ale (Manchester, 23.01.2013).

Cask@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen (04/02/2016) - pours dark amber with a good sized off-white head. Toasty bready malts with some caramel and treacle sweetness, nice herbal twiggy hoppy backing, nutty, some nice dark fruity nuance, decent winter bitter.

The Slug and Lettuce, Leicester, 23/12/15. Pale ruby with a loose beige fringe. Nose aniseed, pine cone and varnished wood. Berries, raisin and toffee with an almond alcohol note. Biscuit linger. Orange peel and wafer. Safe coniferous hop. Pleasant with squashy dark prune tones as it warms. Good.

Fruity and zingy flavour. Deep well rounded brown with a thick fluffy head. Quite fruity tasting and very summery for a wintery beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery-tap. Smooth and malty. Round and fruity, probably a bit sweetish. Spicy hints, fruity. Hints of plums, Malt and not much bitterness. Nice!
