Good aroma, great torrefact coffee taste. Pours black with cream crown. Better than the average porter.

A really good beer, with all the flavour that refers to style. The aroma has coffee, toast, and caramel. The taste is very interesting, cause the taste initiate with the sweet malt and turn up in coffee, caramel, chocolate and being dominated by the toast. The final is dry, toast and alcoholic.

Pours a very dark brown with a finger of light beige head. Almost like a Dry Stout on the initial aroma with delicate roasted scents. The flavour is a bit more full though with sweet, medium bodied and roasted character. Nice and well made in a rather simple and easy drinking style. A typical average beer in my opinion.

A fine example of the British style, much different than North American Porters. Fuller’s does a fine job and this brown bear with a crimson streak is no exception. The big tan head releases smokey, roasty, chocolate, light coffee and nutty fragrances. It’s a bit sweet, a bit smoked and with a bitter balance. The curvy, medium/heavy body is like a thinner Guinness. I enjoy drinking it a bit warmer to really get the flavours out of it.

Can. Much better than I remembered it. Pours a dark beautiful oil colour, no head or carbonation to speak of. Smelled kind of like black liquorice to me. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, burnt toast, and smoke. Body is medium with a slick oily feel on the tongue. Aftertaste is of bitter coffee and it coats the tongue. Have to remember to drink this beauty more often.

I havent had this baby in years. Thinner dark brown pour. Roasty aroma, with some coffee. Caramel and chocolate, some light smokiness. Classic stuff.

Wonderful porter. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head that completely dissipates. Crazy nice aromas of dark chocolate, coffee and toffee. Nice lightly bitter taste with a few sweet malts. Lovely pillowy carbonation, bitter chocolate aftertaste.
