Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Tap @ OTH , nitro. Pours a ruby black, with thick beige head. Aroma is roasted with some nice coffee undertone. Taste, malty, roasted very smooth. Light coffee and chocolate malts just all over, coupled with a nice light hoppy finish. One amazing porter.

Poured from 11.2oz bottle into pint mug. Dark brown, nearly black with reddish tinges when held up to light. 1 finger creamy, lacy head which diminishes rather quickly, but leaves nice lacing inside the mug. Aromas of milk, chocolate, dark dried fruit, and coffee. Tastes of dark and chocolate malts with notes of coffee. Full mouthfeel, light on the carbonation. Very well balanced. Finishes very nicely. Excellent depth of flavor. Very drinkable. This is what I’ve always perceived a true English porter to be. Cheers!

Pours a deep brown almost black with a quickly dissipating off white head. Aroma is mostly roasted malt and a lot of nut and chocolate. There are also some distinct raisin and plum notes. Flavor starts very sweet mostly caramel and toffee. Rich and creamy cocoa and coffee bean in the middle turns to a burnt malt and bitter black coffee-like finish. Medium to full body and high carbonation. Nice rich porter that has a good balance and complexity. Finishes a little too bitter but otherwise a great beer.

Delicious aroma of coffee and light hints of chocolate. Aroma comes up to greet you and lingers long in the nose. Dark brown with a very light tan (almost white) head. Flavors of dark malts chocolate, coffee and maybe a hint of dark fruit. Mild dark grain dry finish. Maybe a tiny hint of bitterness.

Deep, dark chocolate and roast flavors. Very thick body. Gets better as it warms.
