Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Wow! What a awesome beer - smooth, rich, coffee and chocolate and deliciously (and dangerously) easy drinking....a perfect porter.

nearly perfect beer. It has so much flavor for only 5.4% you would think you were drinking a double. I actually prefer this beer next to ice cold.

Pint glass. Pours with a small, delicate, nutty looking head, and has a ruby to nut-brown coffeeish color. The smell is amazingly appetizing. Hazelnut, dark roasted malt, chocolate and a bit of smoke. There is quite a nuttiness to the aroma which makes it very appealing. The taste is very full of semi-sweet chocolate, almond, black cherry and dark roast with rich arabic coffee, and has a crisp, yet velvety mouthfeel. A long, mocha-lke finish makes it very satisfying. This beer is so bursting with flavor, that you must drink it a sip at a time, as the flavors really begin to present themselves as the beer warms.

Very dark brown beer with slight beige head. Aroma is slightly sweet and smoky and there is also some coffee. Complex and interesting aroma. Flavour is smooth and roasted and there is no sweetness. Aroma promises a lot but overall impression is a little mild because of low alcohol procents, I think. However, very tastefull porter if you don’t want to spend "whole evening" with one beer.

Very dark brown with an off white head that thins out slightly. Smells and tastes of malts, chocolate, raisin, coffee, nice rich flavour with a good bitter/sweet balance. Fairly watery with very little carbonation, goes down easy. A great porter with very few flaws, Recommended.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with thin light head that stays. Smell is subtly roasted and sweet. Very pleasant strong initial flavour - however feels a little thin in the mouth and slightly too hoppy. Too watery for me. Is quite good as far as the style goes, but seems slightly overrated on here.

bottle. black pour with thin off white head. Great rich chocolate, caramel, maple sugar, toffee aroma. smooth coffee and chocolate. richness comes towards the end for a great candy like finish.
