Jul 17, 2009 500ml can, again, wish they stocked bottles. Extremely chocolatey aroma with generous malt. Nice dense brown head on this very dark beer. Flavour is wonderful. Sweet and complex. Well rounded mouthfeel, moderately dry finish. Somewhere in between medium and full bodied. Soft and smooth, a really good beer overall.

Sweet and moderately roasted malty aroma with a cornucopia of flavours of chocolate, caramel/toffee mocha, nuts and vague hints of smoke. Pleasantly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a creamy carbonation. Aromatic and complex, moderately roasted and slightly grainy malt profile; long lasting and rounded finish. A wonderful Porter (14.VII.09).
