Bottle. Pours dark brown/red with small light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee but also some earthy notes. Taste is bitter with a bit of sweetness. Palate is dry but smooth with medium carbonation. Finish is coffee and licorice. Excellent porter.

500ml bottle. Dark chocolate brown with decent tan head. Roasted, malty aroma with some caramel. Taste of slight bitter coffee first but mellows quickly - some sweetness in there.

Pours a quite deep black color, topped with an average tan colored head. Standard pleasant roasted aroma, notes of caramel and coffee can also be picked up. Sweet start, roasty with some little bitterness and coffee notes later on. More than decent, this one.

Bottle at home, 7th December 14. Dark, rich smooth. Good for the ABV, enjoyed it, not a patch on the Kernel Export Stout I had after though.

In fles van 0.5liter. Donker van kleur met een matige schuimkop. Smaak chocolade/koffie achtig in een mooie balans...aanrader!

Bottle, 500ml. A light brown colour with a small head. Aroma is sweet and malty with blackberry notes. Flavour is rich with mocha and Christmas cake - sweet, very malty and fruity. Moderate carbonation. Delicious.

Bottle, 50 cl. Pours a dark brown, almost black. Has a big, brown, fairly long lasting head. Aroma is very malty. Chocolate, roasty and caramel malts. A hint of hops as well. Dark chocolate, slight coffee, and overall nice, dark and roasty. Taste has a fairly high chcolaty bitterness up front, but turns more sweet and mellow pretty fast. Ends of with a bit of roasty and hop bitterness. smooth, medium full body and medium carbonation.

Pours dark with a small tan head which quickly dissipates. Looks a lot like cola. Malty aroma with a hint of roastiness. Very soft taste with slightly bitter end. Slick mouthfeel, little carbonation but enough to have it tingle the tip of your tongue. Very nice porter, not too complicated but an easy to drink and enjoy.
