Porter is probably my favorite style of beer. Mostly because they are low hops and have a dark malty bitterness to them. And Fullerís London Porter is definitely a good choice if you like porters. Appearance and aroma are fairly typical of most porters, but the flavor is very full bodied. If youíre a light beer fan, stay away from this bad boy. But if you really like bitter malty brews - pick up a six pack of this.

Chagrined to say Iíve never had this. Ouch. Not sure how that happened but this pour from tall can is rich dark strong coffee colour with a thin cap that laces the glass like Jack Frost. Fantastic blueprint porter.

500ml bottle from the brewery shop. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue, thin beige had that doesnít hang around. Big roasty aromas, alongside blackcurrant, liquorice, coffee, chocolate, and the merest smoky note. Really good nose! And the taste delivers! Medium to full body, slightly sticky texture, but overall very impressed with this.

Very pleasing porter. Nice dark colour, small foam. Very malty aroma with roasty notes. Decent, mellow bitterness. Impressing, but not overwhelming.
