33cl bottle at De Vlaamsche Reus, at Wageningen in the Netherlands (26 V 2016). A 5.4 percentage ABV chocolate dark porter with mint notes. Very lovely porter styled, pitch black and white foamed brew with a rich body. Thick and sweet, bitter flavoured. Perfect porter archetype - great brew.

Zeer uitgesproken geur, wel geen lekkere geur. Heel donker met een Donner witte schuimkraag. De smaak valt wel beter mee dan de geur. Maar gaat toch bij 1 keer blijven

Aroma of sugar and toasted nuts. Dark brown and smooth body, minimal head of any. Looks viscous. Medium roasty notes, very smooth with slight kick at the end of hops. Not overly thick/coating or cloyingly sweet. Well balanced. I enjoy this a lot. Very well put together beer.

Pours a very nice rich dark brown, but still transparent ruby at the edges of the glass. Rich roasted malt, some coffee and toffee notes both in the nose and the mouth. Full mouthfeel. Very good beer.
