500ml can, pours dark brown with a medium sized creamy tan head with good retention. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and muscovado. Light sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium-full body, creamy texture and average carbonation. A pleasant Porter with a likable roasted flavour, however I would have preferred it a bit fuller and stronger.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2013 0,5L can, BB 25.03.2014. Pours very dark ruby, almost black with nice light tan head. The head stays for a long time. Aroma of malt, a lot of chocolate, hints of caramel, bread. Taste is chocolate, toffee, roasted malts. Really nice mild chocolate bitter finish. Medium carbonation, a little bit creamy. Overall: textbook example of porter, but it is just really great beer.

Mmmm. Dark black. Tasty porter. Burnt and roasted, almost charred like toast. Nice bitter aftertaste.

50 cl bottle. Aroma: burned malts, coffee, chocolate. Appearance: dark, opaque, light head. Taste: medium sweetness. Palate: medium body, thick feel, long finish. Overall: nice beer, but would be nicer with a thicker head.

Chagrined to say Iíve never had this. Ouch. Not sure how that happened but this pour from tall can is rich dark strong coffee colour with a thin cap that laces the glass like Jack Frost. Fantastic blueprint porter.

500ml bottle from the brewery shop. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue, thin beige had that doesnít hang around. Big roasty aromas, alongside blackcurrant, liquorice, coffee, chocolate, and the merest smoky note. Really good nose! And the taste delivers! Medium to full body, slightly sticky texture, but overall very impressed with this.
