Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Poured a deep brown, almost black with a well-retained 1/2" creamy white head. Very pretty pour. Aroma consisted of primarily roasted malts, with chocolate, coffee, toffee, and halzenut present. Flavor followed the aroma, and those flavors coated the mouth very well. Smooth sustained coffee finish.

Top Pick Porter. Looks, smells and tastes like a chocolate liquor, although a bit bitter, with some coffee. My daughters were almost tempted to try it. A rich taste, aroma and colour - worth every penny. The bottle suggests after a meal, but I was most pleased with it before one.

Bottle (500ml). Regular stock at LCBO in Ontario (Yay!). Looking forward to having this on cask when in UK next. Pours black, strong roast flavour, enough hops to balance off, slightly bitter aftertaste, but it works. Classic standard porter. I always have a few on-hand.

Aroma: Soft medium slow roasted malt brushed with hints of English bitterness. Dark brown, woody look, foamy head. Just right mix of bitterness with very nice malt. This Porter has great texture, good mouth feel. One of better balanced beers on the market. I can not stop to think of euro style full roasted coffee that used best selected grains. This porter is same. Highly recommended.

Dark black color, medium head. Nice chocolate and coffee aroma. Full bodied porter. Deep roasted malt flavor. Rich complex flavors; cocoa, chocolate, and coffee. Smooth taste. Slightly sweet. Well balanced. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and round. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Very Nice beer.

Nice dark brown black colour with a soft chocolate coloured head. Excellent mouth feel. Pleasantly roasty but it is not overpowering. Hints at chocolate. A nice porter that I will try again.

Bottle. Pours a brown body with a tan head. Chocolate, malty fudge, pudding, a bit of a mineral sediment. Light etoh and a small hop character. A solid beer sometimes you get an off bottle tho.
