Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Extremely black with tiny, tiny white head. Roasted sweet smell without being overwhelming at all. Fantastic tatse. Cold coffee, roasted nuts, chocolate... yummy as hell, I want more NOW! Good mouthfeel. Not too carbonated, which is fantastic, because this is a thick/filling beer. YUM, I want more now, super-drinkable.

Pours a dark opaque black with a brown head. OOOOH. Nice Fresh Sugared Coffee Aroma. The Palate/Mouthfeel is just a little watery but just enough to add to the overall affect . The Flavour explodes with Nuts, Freshly Ground Coffee Beans, and some Woody, Earthy overtones. The Flavour never lets up and finishes delightfully round and sweet. This Brew is Malty, and roasty at that, but not too hoppy insofar as I can decipher, and therefore a true example of this style. There also exist abundant Lacing on the Glass. If you wanna a Java Jam, reach for the Fuller’s. Cheers!

Black with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roasty with hints of prunes and figs. Has a nice rich mouthful. Starts with a chocolate taste, then moves to a more fruit taste, and finally comes back to a dark chocolate finish. The chocolate malts really dominate most of the taste. Has some roast and fruit in there for a nice compliment to the chocolate. One tasty mother fucking porter.

Well, what can I say? This is quite simply one of the best beers available on a regular basis in Ontario, and is a fantastic beer by any measure. What’s even better is to be able to drink it on cask draft from Dora Keogh in Toronto. It’s an amazing multitude of flavours - nuts, coffee, chocolate, malt, caramel. Quite simply one of the best porters, and one of the best beers. Period.

A smokey chocolate wonderful, I’m a pale lager lover, but this may change everything. I figured I perferred stout to a porter, but this porter...mmm this porter

Pours a very dark brown, aroma of molasses with a hint of coffee. Very dark in a glass, head keeps well, very balanced flavor or strength and bitterness. No lingering after-taste like some domestic (USA) porters. Best Porter I have had to date.

Aroma of toffee, coffee, and something sour. Small tan head that dissipated quickly. Mouthfeel is very full and creamy. Strong coffee flavor, along with raisins, chocolate, figs and toffee. Very roasty, smooth and easy drinking. Extremely delicious, a beer I always find myself going back to. .
