Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

This is the kind of beer I hope to bring home everytime I venture out to try a new brew. Smells wonderful, but more importantly tastes great!!! This is a multi-faceted flavor. Very layered and complex. Wonderful.

Beautiful, rich nose with loads of roasted malt. Thick and coffee like.Hit me like a ton of bricks. Layers of flavor finishes smooth with a butter toffee hint.

Coffee-cream, chocolate maltiness. Fairly easy drinking. Lack of bitterness may disappoint some.

I was planning to drink the Dolle Dulle Teve 10 as my 600th rating, but suddenly this one came up. Clear dark brown coloured. Complex aroma and flavour, malts, coffee, cocoa, bit smokey. Complex and nevertheless very smooth and easy-to-drink. Very nice brew.

Dark black with a huge ass walnut color head. Aroma of walking through a forest where it just rained and there is a bakery baking fresh bread. A very nice smooth chalky nutty base, smooth like a fucking criminal with a solid foundation of nuts .

Toasted peaty nose, dark opaque brown color, low tight lacy head. Deep roasted malt taste. Almost smokey. Maybe chocolate in the middle. Dry expresso bitterness that lingers forever. Thinner than expected and kind of monodimensional, but fun and certainly enjoyable.

Didn’t know how to rate this one! Great porter, so good that I wanted to rate it against a belgian trappist. Other porters have nothing on Fullers. Makes me think I am pretty good at rating beers! Glad to see everyone else thinks like me. anyone who gives this a rating below 3.5 has had one to many!

Sweet roasted chocolate aroma, thick coffee/chocolate flavor, pleasant finish. Starts off good and gets even better the more you drink. Excellent brown porter.
