12oz bottle. Poured dark dark brown with very little tan head. Great aroma filled with coffee and chocolate. Great creamy taste of the same with a woody taste also. Just a stellar porter. The way they should be made.

Typical bitter european porter. Not much sweetness. Thicker than the 5% abv. I dont see the big deal on this one.

Beautiful roasty chocolate coffee notes. Almost nutty. Smells so good. Appearance is about as brown as you can be without being black, thin ring of head. Taste is great, burnt and roasty at the beginning, and the finish makes me want to sob with happiness. Feel is great. Amazing beer.

Botte. Very dark brow with a tan head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is toasty with notes of licorice, smoke and coffee. Flavor is quite similar as aroma where smoky notes are more present, also roasted malts and light earthy hints. The final has coffee notes with a dry sensation.

Lighter than any other stout I’ve seen, both in appearance and consistency. Held to the light it turns dark red rather than remaining black like many others. Pleasant chocolate and coffee notes, with very little bitterness in the aftertaste. Flavour is on the weak side. Aroma is nice - chocolate and coffee appear with some other undetermined smells. Slightly carbonated. After rave reviews here, I was expecting more. Out of a can, because that’s all they sell here.
