CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer Of The Year 1979.
Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller’s is most famous. In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.
To the beer afficiando looking for the classic English pint, we say this: Whatever you do, take Pride.

NOTE: Most Fuller's beer in the US is served by handpump kegs (at 4.7%), not casks. Ask your server.

Cask at The Plough, London. The most flavorful of the many cask ales I sampled. The aroma, however, was somewhat moderate with notes of caramel, fruits and malts. The flavor was on the sweet side with a hop earthiness and notes of grain, toffee and apple. Nice bitter aftertaste that coats the mouth. Good session beer.

Cask at Pakenham Arms, London. Copper color. Tropical fruit and caramel in the aroma. The flavor is nicely balaced with malt, fruity esters and fruity hops. Finishes bitter with aromatic malt, fruity esters and light caramel notes. Balanced and pleasant.

(Cask at Victoria, Paddington, London 22 Apr 2006) Dark amber colour with little head. Malty, fruity nose with hints of apricots, oranges, caramel and a fair deal of hops. Taste is malty, nutty with a well balanced, dry and bitter, finish. Always refreshing and enjoyable when well kept.

Merton Beer Festival Sept’ 2004. Used to also drink this every Sunday night at the Marsh Harrier, Cowley, Oxford. Amber in colour, white head , nice malty aroma, a truly wonderful very well balanced flavour of malt, hops with just the right levels of sweetness and biterness, a classic English biter.
