Clear copper with no real head. Malty aroma. Chalky dry with citrus rind. Bitter end. Not bad, not on the drink again list.

A damn popular beer in England and I don’t really understand why. I mean it’s not bad but it’s not great. Solid all rounder with nothing to stand it out from the pack

When served well, Fuller’s flagship bitter is a real treat. Not much aroma but the intense caramel malt flavour more than makes up for that. Lingering sweet/sour finish, again predominated by malt.

Draught at "Swan" - Bayswater/London . Amber/orange color, clear and limpid aspect with a poor head resistance. Malty and cortex aroma. Smooth taste with a little resin mouth and a bitter dried final.

mcberko (4146) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 24, 2013
On cask at The Paper Mill, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of light bready malts, floral hops and English hops - very subtle stuff. Flavour brings out floral notes, English hops, and light bready malts. Very enjoyable and definitely a different beast to the regular bottled version.

Creedence (161) - Cork, IRELAND - APR 10, 2013
Cask at Porterhouse Cork. Pours a clear amber gold with a thin white head. Aroma is quite malty, with caramel and straw to the front, but with more unusual tobacco and chocolate notes too. Medium-strong sweetness and only a light bitterness on tasting. Again quite malty, with more caramel and straw coming through. Lingering sweetness with a light body and a nice smooth finish. Pretty decent bitter, but nothing that remarkable.

Nov 2012 - on draught again in London. A bit generic - biscuit malt, drying in the mouth and unexciting.
