Outstanding Premium Ale.
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties in the brew."

This is a fine example of what an English Pale Ale should taste like. This has been one of my favorites for a long time.

Great, light-bodied, flavorful session beer. Flowery hop flavors of English varieties make for a good break from all the Cascade over-hopping you get from American micros.

This one really should be drunk from the pump, but it is good in bottles too. Well balanced flavour and not at all overpowering.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2004 Bottle. Blander than the cask version, with more fizzy stuff going on, doesn't have those juicy earthy hops in their, it much more boring than on cask.

Maybe a little on the light side, with a nice caramel malty taste and dry finish.

Very enjoyable pale ale with a good body and lingering palate. The aroma is pleasant, and the flavor exceptional. One of my favorites

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2008 Aroma of brown sugar and juicy malts. Slight haze in an otherwise clear, copper beer with a lasting off white foam. A full, chewy mouthfeel with notes of red apple, apricot, earthy hops and biscuity malt. This beer makes me think of breakfast.

When I start a drinkin’ I swear that Fuller’s griffin starts talking to me, ’grab another brew’. It has a nice maltiness to it and goes down very well. Not much aroma, but has a pleasant taste that keeps you going. Is this considered a session beer? I could drink this for a few sessions and then some.

Beloved Beer (278) - California, USA - DEC 15, 2001
Good hoppy taste and aroma with a nice appearance. Like a toned down IPA or something. Not sure if I like it better than the american pale ale yet. I still have to do some comparison, but I liked it.

Thick water, comparable to the water Al Bundy drinks in Married with Children!
