0.5l can. I could have sworn on something that I have had this one before. By had before I mean rated before. I even remember the day I sat down and rated it, but unfortunately I canít remember the day I added it on Ratebeer. Anyhow, now I have a brand new can with my name on it. Looks just like it should with a crystal clear deep golden body under a medium sized light lacing off-white top. Its managing to be both fruity and a tad metallic on the nose this. Mostly the first, with tones of peach juices and melon. A bit sweet perhaps at first on the nose, but I still enjoy the aroma this beer can offer. (see what I did there?) It has a somewhat thin and almost what you could call watery feeling in the mouth and itís gentle on the small bubbled carbonation level. Honestly it tastes a bit boring. Itís fruity sweet with a watery malty thing that dominated. Soft caramel and itís really low in the bitterness. A little bit of wheat sweetness in the softly metallic finish. Yeah, it tastes pretty much just like I remember it. A bit dull all in all, but not bad a bad specimen of itís genre. 13.03.2014

50cl bottle, 4,7% abv. Pours a clear golden amber with a big, white, short lasting head. Aroma has lots of sweet and caramel malty nuances, but also a fairly high, fruity hop presence. Slight peach and pear, but in a pretty ripe and caramelized way. Taste has a slight hoppy bitterness and slight sweet fruity hops, but overall a lot of malty sweetness. Still a pretty fresh beer, but with a high malt presence. Medium body and medium high carbonation.

Another classic I had today. Floral, fruity and woody. This beer has that Fullerís house flavor coming through. A bit of biscuits, earth and caramel. Well balanced, always a pleasure to drink.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass Appearance: pours a 1" sudsy off white head that falls slowly with some moderate lacing. Color is a clear light copper with mild streaming carbonation. Aroma: some sweet bready malt, fruit, earthy hops. Mouthfeel: light to medium bodied with standard fluffy ale mouthfeel. Finish is dry. Flavor: bready malt, some biscuit, a bit raisin, earthy and a bit of floral hop finish. Overall: a classic that never disappoints. I could drink this everyday if my budget allowed it.

Bottle with the wife and boys- pours clear light orange, frothy off white head with lacing. Nose is appetizing, esters, raspberries, graham crackers, peaches and some ale yeast. Subtle caramel and earth malts with hints of honey, nutty sweetness that melds well for the style. Complexity for an old stand by ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at my desk at work. Mid amber orange coloured pour , clear with a frothy off white head. Aroma is nice clean nutty and light caramel malts layered on top of nice berry / raisin fruits. Flavour is composed of semi-sweet caramel biscuit malts, berry and dried fruits. Touch of hedgerow earthyness. Water profile is soft with a hint of chalk, very smooth on the tongue. Palate is mi sweet with a semi crisp finish, medium smooth body. Ferment is very clean with decent English yeast character. Very easy drinking beer with no real desernable flaws..

Bottle in a pub. Clear dark amber, light beige head disappears after a while. Nose is malty, dried apples and pickled peaches, grains, loads of caramel, dusty hops. Taste similar, with moderate bitterness. Medium body, carbonation average, palate on the dry side and grainy. A very good easy-drinking thirst quencher, even for a guy like me whoís not very keen on bitters.

500 mL can. Pours clear light copper with a tiny cap of white head. Toasty, bready malt with some biscuit and light toffee. Minty, herbal hop tones, subtle spice box, leather and earth. Maybe a bit of apple. Light, almost thin, with light to moderate carbonation. Dry with a bitter finish. A little sticky. Very nice session ale, too bad itís from a pasteurized can and not a hand pump!
