God og fruktig lager. Skikkelig frisk, med god kullsyre og lett bitterhet.

A great representation of the style and a fabulous beer. Nice balance between the malty sweet and hop bitterness. A fine session ale.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 0.5 l can poured in an ordinary glass.
Itís not only the beautiful bottle (the can is also imposing: Black can with the red blazon watermarked: "Whatever you do, take pride"). This is a very good Fullerís specimen. Nice authentic Bitter.
A: Beautiful amber-crystal color with a reasonable (1-2 finger) beige head.
S: Wonderful hop perfume. Some honey and, at the same time, dry and citrus. Malt and bread. Classic Bitter smell I have to say it...
T: Excellent composition of malt and hops. Those Fullerís yeasts are also a must.
M: Light carbonation. Bitterness from the beginning til the end: Very nice!
D: High. Thatís a beer that I would drink the all day long: God save the Fullerís!

Dark copper, good head retention, medium carbonation, malty aroma and flavor well balanced with bitterness, very low fruitiness. Medium body, dry finish. Definitively a session beer with lots of drinkability.

Very nice. A solid ESB, although I wouldnít say the best of breed. Malty notes in abundance; some slippery mouthfeel that I expect. Wouldnít mind an increase in abv for a bit more flavor.
