Outstanding Premium Ale.
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties in the brew."

Bottle, 4.7%. Pours clear amber with no head at all, medium carbonation. Slightly sour attack and then sweet with light hoppy aroma, citrus, malts. Light bitter finish. Very smooth and dangerously easy to drink, not as bitter as I expected.

Amber/copper in color that’s nicely clear. Avg. carbo’s with a small white foamy head that lingers to a thin wispiness. Smells of sour cider light malts and woodsy hops. Tart malty tasting brew with hops providing a nice earthy bitterness. Some cloying or butterscotch is present. I can also taste some bready undertones after I swallow. A decent English brew that’s smooth and soft but kind of flat tasting. A nice bottle.

The aroma is not particularly strong, and consists of fruity and caramel notes mixed with a wee bit of metal and alcohol. Pours clear, coppery orange with a head bigger than average but less stable than that. Bitterness halfway between low and medium, barely perceptible sweetness. Light bodied, feels almost like bitter water; average carbonation, bitter finish. A beer one can easily have two or three of to smooth a discussion but not be distracted from it, that is to say nice enough, nothing special.

Dark golden with copper hue, small off-white head. Caramel, dried fruits, apricots and apple peel, dry grains with a light toasted touch, nice bitter finish with fruity hops. Medium bodied. Great balanced ale with full taste but still very fresh.

On tap @ Reuben’s Brews during 7/5/2014 Seattle beer tour. Pours a burnt orange appearance with a creamy off white head. Light diacetyl, toasted bread, and caramel in the nose. Soft mouth feel. A touch fruity. Sweet toasted grain flavor. A but of butterscotch and caramel. OK.

Bouteille 33cl. Ambrée avec un léger col de mousse. Carbonation moyenne et corps léger sur des arômes de malts dominés par le caramel. Rien d’exceptionel mais pas mauvais non plus.
