Very nice. A solid ESB, although I wouldn’t say the best of breed. Malty notes in abundance; some slippery mouthfeel that I expect. Wouldn’t mind an increase in abv for a bit more flavor.

Strong malty aroma, smooth malty taste, great pour and very good English beer.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014

Sep 2014 - Can, 4.7%, BB 31/07/15. A gift. Served cold. Hazy bronze colour, lightly sparkling, almost no head, even when forced. Aroma is sweet & malty, touch metallic, burnt sugar. Body is light, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is light with a touch of liquorice, nice soft hoppiness and a very light bitterness. Nothing complicated - an easy drinker. (3.2)

Oct 2014 - Bottle, just to complete the set. Room temp. Pretty much the same last last time, bit more foamy, some butter. (3.1)

Ambrée. Limpide. Bien malté. Noix. Fine amertume. Léger caramel. Courte en bouche. Un peu florale. Tout en douceur. Bien.

Translúcida e dourada. Creme bem formado e denso. Amarelado. Aroma intenso, herbáceo, doce. Amarga e saborosa. O lúpulo é bem evidente, assim como o malte adocicado. Dá um equilíbrio bom. Tem um quê amadeirado. O retrogosto é saboroso e amargo. Desce muito bem!
