Clearly one of my favorite beers. Fruity and easy to drink on a summer day/night.

Caramel color, medium head. The aroma is caramel with some malt. The taste is intriguing - it begins failry neutral, some malt and water, and then explodes into a lovely floral hoppy finish. The aftertaste is malty and lasting. Very refreshing, very drinkable.

330ml bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear copper with a one finger white head. Has that wonderful toffee/caramel aroma associated with English ales. Also has some dark fruit and pipe tobacco. Flavor starts out somewhat sweet with hints of dark fruit. This transitions to some caramel as the sweetness fades and a light bitterness begins to take hold. The bitterness brings in flavors of pipe tobacco and a slight mustiness that is quite pleasant. Overall this is an amazing beer. So many flavors are present and the balance between malt and hops is perfect. A world class beer.

Aroma: Deliciously hoppy, some cirtus fruit, malty, peppery, herbal hops, honey, caramel. Body: smooth, oily. Taste: Perfectly balanced. Orange jam, honey, caramel, nuts, olive-like herbal hoppy bitternes. Finish: oily , bitter, hoppy, dry. I could drink a gallon.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with a persistent yellow-white head. Smells like grains and dry hops. Tastes somewhat sweet, somewhat metallic, with a stingy, dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. OK, but definitely not as "OUTSTANDING" as the bottle tries to make it sound...

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Orange brown colour, reasonable head. Grassy caramel chocolate malt aroma. Vanilla toffee malt flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Not had this one for a long time. I used to think this was a great beer but things have moved on & now it is only average.

A very smooth beer and as always with malty taste, not too low on carbon. Just right. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Very good for a bitter. Caramel flavour with a clean finish. I’d happily drink lots of these.

This beer had a big head that was putting on a cool show kinda like caned gunniess but a bit diff as some faded away. A good head last long and laces the glass. it’s an amber orange red beer. Smells like a west coast ipa all citrus and grapefruite like with some bitter. Taste well the head and some of the beer is a creamy smooth malty base lightly and yummy with the hops tasteing all citrus/grapefruit bowl(like an west coast ipa)and soem bitter. Not a hop head but can like some hoppy beers and this one is not bad its allright. I like it but deff dont love it. Cheer’s!
