Don’t really get Fuller’s. Sometimes they seem to strive for big and bold beer. Sometimes they make these types of beer that reminds me of big corporate bland beers.

Flaska från SB. Klar bärnstenfärgad med vit skumkrona. Lätt doft av bröd och torkad aprikos. Lätt frisk kropp. Smak av bröd och metall. Lätt bitter avslutning.

At first poor (from either a bottle, can or cask) it looks rather flat and unappealing. Shlopp is a word that comes to mind. First taste and its not bad, rather bland to be honest with a slightly odd taste. Not unpleasant, definitely "ale-ish", but not something I’ll be writing home about. Smell is somewhat forgettable too. All in all an easy drinking, bland, unimpressive beer. Massively overrated by ratebeer I must say.

Appearance: clear dark amber, one finger of off white head, minimal lacing. Aroma: fruity, malty, and sweet, with some plum and peach, honeyed graham crackers, and a bit of earthy hops. Taste: as the aroma indicates. Finish: smooth, clean, slightly sweet, with lingering fruit and earthy hops. Notes: Well-balanced, excellent palate.
