Outstanding Premium Ale.
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties in the brew."

I donít ígetí London Pride. Although I like out more than I used to (used to call it London Shame), itís still a second choice beer for me behind supposedly lesser brews. Anyway, aroma is smoky old pubs from my childhood, badly patterned carpets, wood polish, fat men with moustaches making off colour jokes, cricket pavilions. So far so good - itís an old fashioned beer. The palate is all wrong though. Too lively and the bubbles are just too big. And itís oily. Taste is good, nice and bitter, rounding off with caramel malt. But itís just a full on beeriness, nothing unexpected there. Second half of the bottle seems thinner and sourer. Great beer gets better.

Lightly amber colour with a small-medium off white head. Aromas of hay, earthy-malty notes with notes of spicey tea leaves, ceder and floral hues develop. Lightly carbonated, bit slick texture and a medium body. Good balance between the malt center and the crisp hop bitterness. Medium finish.

A amber ale with nearly no head. Caramel notes but not sweet. Rather dry and bitter. Low carbonation. Not bad

Sorso secco.

500ml can. Pours a clear orange caramel with a half finger, cream head. Aroma is a touch floral and herbal with a touch of spicy hops, citrus, lemon, and just a slight caramel. Caramel and toffee comes out as it warms up. Taste is balanced. Toasted bread, smooth caramel, and slightly floral with hints of citrus, lemon, resin, and spicy hops. Medium-full body with a low carbonation. Smooth, creamy, and rich in the mouth with a slightly dry finish. Tastes similar to a casked ale. Overall not bad. Mild flavours but a lot of them overtop of a great mouth feel.

On tap at GB Fish and Chips. Mostly malty aroma with notes of caramel, toffee and fruity esters. The flavor is moderately sweet with a light hop bitterness. Average body with soft carbonation. Not a big fan.

Aroma: sweet fruits, toffee, low flowery hops. Taste: light sweeteness, very light fruit sourness. Flavour: tropical fruits, dried apples, light fruits jam, flowers, light bread notes. Light bitterness and light sourness in the aftertaste. All tastes and flavours are very light and mild. May be too light, anyway a pleasant beer.

Dorada tostada, dos dedos de espuma. Marcado aroma a canela. En boca entra muy muy bien, muy ligera y con baja carbonatacion. Sabor a malta tostada, poco acentuado. Agradable postgusto. Rica pero le falta caracter, algo aguada.

Lots of fruit flavor in this one, namely citrus and tropical notes. Mild bitterness at the end. Not bad.
