Outstanding Premium Ale.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 Probably the most balanced brew I know of. And that is its standout feature - nothing "stands out". The perfect session beer in my book.

From the can & on tap in US. Pours a deep dark golden orange, light off white head. Aroma is bitter grass hop, earth, light sugar. Flavor is bready pale malt, earth, light sweet. A staple.

Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, light fruit, floral hops. Flavour is moderaete malty sweetness with some bitterness in the finish. An okay English Bitter.

Itís like a typical typical Bitter, which I have to say is not my favourite style. Itís perfectly clear golden color. Aroma - mostly malts. Taste - no body, itís not complex, just strict and pure bitterness.

Dark amber colour. Very bitter hoppy tasting. Lingering aftertaste. Very different to the cask. Not as smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This has been a real revelation for me, after finally re-trying it and loving it. You can attempt to describe it, but it?s just a perfectly balanced English ale - sweet and dry, malty and hoppy. For a simple beer it has plenty of complexity from the yeast, the parti-gyle process and the hops.

Draught at Norma Jean, Tel Aviv. Clear copper with nice medium off-white head. Floral aroma, soapy, light hoppy. Balanced flavor, light hoppy bitterness, light malty sweetness, herbs, caramel. Light body. Bitter aftertaste. Nice beer.

Een donker-amberkleurig bier met een dunne (het is tenslotte een Brits bier) schuimkraag. Geur van mout, smaak van mout, beetje notig, beetje caramel, fris bitter, ook in de nasmaak. Een lekker Brits bier!

Bottle from Tesco, Windy Nook. Pours ruby, nice effervescent appearance let down by a slightly metallic tinge to flavour
