Outstanding Premium Ale.
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties in the brew."

Use to drink this every once and a while when first started into beer but it has probably been 10 years since Iíve had it. Big amber body with a creamy cap floating on top............. looks good but I normally donít get excited over this style, almost always drinkable but almost always boring. More then expected hops in the aroma, caramel, some thing Iíll call sharp banana ...... not bad, not bad at all. Goes down fast and easy. Crisp hoppyness, toasted malts, slightly bready finish. Melon, hints of leather, lemon? maybe. This is actually pretty good, and I wasnít bored.

Bottle from Tesco, Windy Nook. Pours ruby, nice effervescent appearance let down by a slightly metallic tinge to flavour

500 ml bottle. Clear, golden amber color, long-life medium sized solid and creamy off-white head, pleasant dry toffee and nutty aroma, from light to medium body, soft carbonation, sweet caramel and malty taste, definite bitter earthy and citrus hoppy palate with cereal (e.g. nutty, toffee) notes. A well-balanced and smooth Premium Bitter style ale. Fine.

This is meant to be a classic but didnít work for me. maybe this style just didnít work for me. Pours with almost no head, flavours very mild, not very interesting.

Off the tap, It is clear golden amber with a pretty good but dissipating off-white head. Tastes quite sweet and malty with the bitterness coming through with the almost spicy hops.

This is a lovely bitter. Dark copper colour with little head. Starts with sweet malt then comes the citrus bitterness. Very smooth, not what I expected ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Well balanced, albeit very mild, aromas and flavors. Nice finishing bitterness. Somewhat watery. Good but nowhere near their ESB.
