Outstanding Premium Ale.
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties in the brew."

Pours a bright golden honey color with a white frothy head. Smells of English malts, cereal, apples and herbal hops. Taste is a strong cider-like sweetness up front with cereal grain character while in the mouth. Aftertaste is smooth, buttery with just the right amount of hops. Carbonation is soft. Nice balance, awesome complexity. Good ale! Again, style categories at this site are in serious need of correction. This is an English Pale Ale, not an ESB.

On tap in Cardiff. Pours a golden color with a thick white head that lingers, good lacing. Almost no carbonation, very thin body. Very smooth mouthfeel. A little bit citrus aroma. Taste is mild hoppy and it has a somewhat bitter finish. Nice! Easily drinkable.

It’s like a typical typical Bitter, which I have to say is not my favourite style. It’s perfectly clear golden color. Aroma - mostly malts. Taste - no body, it’s not complex, just strict and pure bitterness.

Dark amber colour. Very bitter hoppy tasting. Lingering aftertaste. Very different to the cask. Not as smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This has been a real revelation for me, after finally re-trying it and loving it. You can attempt to describe it, but it?s just a perfectly balanced English ale - sweet and dry, malty and hoppy. For a simple beer it has plenty of complexity from the yeast, the parti-gyle process and the hops.

Draught at Norma Jean, Tel Aviv. Clear copper with nice medium off-white head. Floral aroma, soapy, light hoppy. Balanced flavor, light hoppy bitterness, light malty sweetness, herbs, caramel. Light body. Bitter aftertaste. Nice beer.
