Outstanding Premium Ale.
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties in the brew."

Pours a bright golden honey color with a white frothy head. Smells of English malts, cereal, apples and herbal hops. Taste is a strong cider-like sweetness up front with cereal grain character while in the mouth. Aftertaste is smooth, buttery with just the right amount of hops. Carbonation is soft. Nice balance, awesome complexity. Good ale! Again, style categories at this site are in serious need of correction. This is an English Pale Ale, not an ESB.

Golden Pale-Amber color, looks pretty amazing. Rather little head. Aroma is little citrus with honey and malt. Bready as well as some caramel. Medium body, very smooth. Starts with a fine hopcharacter and finishs malty, little toasty. Well balanced. Lovely beer.

Piwo do picia duzymi lykami

The best ubiquitous (in London, anyway) British beer by a long shot. Itís not going to change your life, but Fullerís donít get much wrong and the pasteurised Pride is better than the cask one if you ask me. Sweet malts provide a base for what is a pretty odd hop combination for a mainstream beer, developing and making themselves known without ever really asserting themselves. Quite right too - itís all about balance here. Even so, a bit of grapefruit and melon creeps in towards the end, banana maybe.

On tap at this yearís Chicago Beer Societyís Umptieth Annual Picnic. Self served to plastic showing a clear, medium gold to light amber color, with sudsy, off white head foam, and spots & strands of lacing. The nose was light grain/soft malt, a bit of toastiness, a touch of caramel sweetness, and slight fruitiness as apple & pear. The taste was similar, light to medium bodied, with fair carbonation, modest, earthy bitterness, and crisp & clean finish. A benchmark Bitter that fit the occasion well.

Malt, blackstrap molasses and rosewater nose. Malt driven tasting with sweetness at the front, wort-like. A medium carbonation with a quite abrupt harsh bitterness that detracts a little.

A true London classic. One of my many favourite English ales. Medium bodied, with a light tone of caramel, medium bitterness, average carbonation. Always hits the spot!

Couldnít possibly imagine the complexity of this one, as I was kind of preoccupied because of other Fullerís ales I had in the past. But I underestimated it. Pours clear golden to amber, with large diminishing off-white head. Very balanced, cookie and toasted grain malts, light presence of hops, lively carbonation, medium body, thin texture, bitter-dry finish. Needs some time to reveal its true character. Michael Jackson canít be wrong, so Iím happy to have drank one of his 500 classic brews. Thumbs up!
