Bottle. Golden with an off white head. Aromas are cereal and weetabix with some nuttiness. Dusty yeast with citrus and hints of melon. Some damp cardboard. Flavours are dry grain with soda water. Lemon with grapefruit, metal and a peppery, leafy finish. OK.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 CalumScotland (119) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - MAY 8, 2012
The main reason I bought this was because of the name taste Ok really nothing special about it
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 maeib (6637) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2012
Bottled. A classic brown coloured beer with barely any head. Orangey English hops with papery pasteurisation. High bitterness. The lack of alcohol volume is noticeable but there’s a decent amount of flavour.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 stravale (579) - Scottish Borders, SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2012
Bottle from Tesco
Golden caramel amber, clear, good frothy whith head that dissipates to thin layer 3
Aroma Light grassy hops, soft caramel, very light aroma
Taste Soft grassy hops, touch of lemon zest, light citrus hops, caramel malts, some biscuit, light spicy touch peppery bitter hops, very slight bready malt, very good flavour for 2.8% abv
Palate medium carb, very thin body, tangy soft spicy palate. Finish as main flavour with more of that biscuit coming through, good gentle grassy hop light biscuit linger.
Overall - Haven’t had a beer as good as this for 2.8%. Normally think beers at this abv are rubbish - but I would have this again!
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 ogivlado (4444) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 18, 2012
Bottled 500ml. -from Pivoljub, Ljubljana. Dark golden coloured, small off-white head, light malty herbal nose. Weak malty, bitter hoppy herbal and faint fruity taste with strong bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. So-so beer but quite diluted.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Tomethy (27) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2012
Looks pleasant enough, but head quickly disappears. Smells like wort that has just been run off into the kettle- it’s bizzare. With that comes honey, caramel and corn. Weird stuff. Not sure how it’s made- maybe it’s the last runnings of something else? Distinctive though I suppose. Not bad mouthfeel considering the ABV. Not very impressed, but wasn’t expecting much either.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - APR 17, 2012
Bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks! Nice full dark golden body, white head. Light nice bread & herbal aroma hop nose, very light honey. Light sweetish agrumey-herbal hoppy taste, soft. Some bitterness and very very light hop acidity. Expected far worse, but for the abv, this is very good.

Appearance: Light bronze. Clear. Very little head.
Aroma: Caramel, nutty, malt.
Taste: More malt and nuttiness. A bit boring.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 will1 (140) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2012
Pours with a lively frothy head that quickly disperses. Decent copper colour. Malt & hops aroma pleasant but its here the low alcohol content is most obvious as it lacks some volatility. Taste and aftertaste are hops hops hops. Very good for a sub 3%er.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DanielBrown (2722) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2012
Bottle from Tesco, Witton. Yellow, no head. Smells like the anceint Egypt exhibition at New Walk museum, Leicester. Compared to the other 2 x 2.8% beers sampled this evening, this is marvellous. Weak? Yes. Lots of water? Yes. But also a very fresh hop note towards the finish. UK hop note certainly, but pleasant.
