Draft at IBG (Lutz, FL). Pours a dark reddish amber color with a foamy off-white head. Caramel and biscuit malt aroma along with noticeable alcohol. The flavor is quite good with roasted caramel malt and raisin. The finish is fairly dry with a decent amount of bitterness. The alcohol is more noticeable on the nose than in the flavor.

Tap at copper mine. Amber pour, with little if any aroma. One good thing too say about this beer is its very drinkable but that isnt saying much. Not much to flavor or after taste.

Nose has fine malt, caramel, and some red pitfruit. Deep copper, small tan head, plenty of lace, impressive for draught. Taste is a fruity malt, wet hop leaves. Light bodied, really well balanced, alcohol isnít noticed (6.8?), quite an easy drinking beer given the abv. Terrific!

[1998-20090216] Tap. Mild grains aroma, not much there. Clear, amber red body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Toasty malt grains flavour with some bread toast, young hops, lightly burned characteristics and a small kick of alcohol later. Medium body is initially smooth followed by graininess. Quite rough throughout, otherwise fair.

[Tap @ UJís Glenside; 6.3%] Poured a clear brown color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of nuts, caramel malts, some vanilla, and toasted dough. Taste of sweeter caramel, brown sugar, nuts, and some cocoa, with a dry finish. Seemed more like a brown ale to me.
