The aroma is malty and grainy, without any fruity ale notes - just like a German bock. A touch of caramel and a dash of herbal hops. Some oily toast when it warms up. The flavor has a shade of sweetness, but the dry hoppy and nutty bitterness hides the sugar right away. Some good diacetyl smooths the body. Nice.

Nettes Weihnachtsbier.

Amber colour, light head on top. Aroma has nuts, dried fruits, sweet forest berries. Taste has caramel malts, nuts, berries and some strawberry too! Medium-to-light body and high carbonation. Pretty ok winter ale.

Bottle from super value. Cooper pour, clear, big off white head. Mellow malt bites in the aroma, mild fruity flavours. Minimal carbonation, soft mouthfeel, sweet and fruity in the finish. Very cask like even in the bottle.

Sweet and bitter. Dried fruits. Mild and short taste. The British bitterness stays in mouth.

Perfect winter beer. A bit thin in the taste but as a winter beer it’s very good.

Bottle from my Secret Santa Sabine :) Many thanks. Aroma caramel, nutty, overall malty, some light metallic off notes. Beautiful clear brown colour. Head dissipates rather quickly. Taste is malty, nutty, caramel. Easily drinkable, rather low carbonation. Really good.
