(on bottle) Every time I get a new Fuller´s I get a good experience, so I must be developing a soft spot here. I´ve rated this ale pretty high, just because it´s a good brew. I a world of many bad ales and beer, I just like a roasted, toffee, sweet, malty nose, great full mouth feel and a sligthly watery, hoppy ending. It´s even a bit spicy in the very last finish.

Tad sweet, nutty, and very much what I think of as a winter beer. Good stuff.

This is a real old man's drink - you can truly taste the woodbines and false teeth. Rich and woody. Lovely!

I almost didn’t drink this beer - the label said "Best by 14 Sept 01", a full year and four months before I drank it. So, my rating is with a grain of salt. Very reminiscent of apple cider in aroma and flavour. Lingering bitter finish. Caramel notes.

The thought that comes to mind to me is apple cider. It smells like it, and tastes like it, with some nice bitterness. It has a nice deep amber color, and a slight white head, that lasts for about half the glass.
