(Fullerís Old Winter Ale (Bottle)) Bottle 500 ml at home, served into an english pint glass, ABV 5.3% Dark amber colour on the body, clear, with a small but thick tan head on top, very good retention, light lacing on the glass. Sweet caramel on the nose and toffee. Taste also of caramel, toffee, light spices, english hops, with a quite bitter finish. Medium body, good carbonation. Okay.

Bottle from SB 141230. Clear dark copper with weak head. Nice and complex nose and taste. Sweetish taste with raisins but also a perfect bitterness without citrus. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Of course they do fine beers. But I still wonder how they did manage again to like another one of their piwos. Fruity and fresh with some sweetish background and their own Fullers style dry finish with its big body behind. Fine one.

Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. The beer has got a deep amber-brownish colour with an steady low head and medium body. Aroma of hops and biscuits. Taste of mild hops, straw, biscuits, vanilla, cake, ginger and mild herbs. Hints of barley and nuts. Easy drinkable with a mīsmooth and nice finish. Good one.

Bottle, small bubbly creamy head, clear lightish brown color, aroma of honey, ttoffee, biscuit and some traces of oxidation, flavor of caramel and biscuit with some hints of honey and a medium to light shrubby bitterness, body is a tad to light, quite dry. Nice and pleasant.

Not a bad winter ale, nice warming nutty profile with fairly light (for the style) caramel and malt notes.

Pours a dark coppery color, topped with an average beige colored head. Malty aroma, notes of caramel, biscuits, slightly buttery and nutty with some soya sauce aroma. Taste is sweet with notes of caramel and biscuits, finishes with a very mild bitterness and some spicy feel right at the end. Easily drinkable, smooth.

Hyvin on jouluinen. Maukas ja maistuva. Pehmeš ja antiikin oloinen. Menis kinkun kanssa.

Bottle. Clear Brown, with medium Brown head. Fruity, caramel, almost buttery, nose. Sweet, light bitter taste. Fresher carbonation than expected, medium texture. Dried berries and nice caramel weithin the aftertaste. Nice one. Germans are not the only ones with good Winter beer.

Mooie roodbruine kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt toffee, vanille, lekker bitter. Smaakt bitterzoet, vanille en toffee.
