COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in pasteurised bottles and kegs all year round.
Organic Honey Dew is the UK’s best selling organic beer. Light and golden with a zesty edge and a bitter-sweet flavour, Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that is Soil Association approved as 100% organic.
Served chilled, Organic Honey Dew offers both refreshment and an unbeatable taste. The real organic honey in the brew gives a gentle sweetness that appeals to a wide range of people, even those who perhaps wouldn’t usually drink beer, making it a very popular choice!

Pours gold with a very small head. Nose shows straw, faint honey, earthy and herbal hops. Some cereal grain characters too. Flavours include a little more honey with some bready malt and earthy hops. Quite sweet. Faint cardboard. Nice moderate carbonation.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, no organic mentioned, 5% ABV, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Clear golden color, lots of tiny bubbles, medium creamy off-white head. Aroma of grainy malt, soft flowery hop, slight sweet honey. Bit sweet in taste, bit bitter. Much less honey than I expected actually, although its clearly present. Medium to high carbonation, medium body. Decent golden ale.

Bland, sweet, clear, politically correct. No reason to try this beer unless you are a radically left greenie!

7/22/2010. From bottle. Golden color with a white head. Malty aromas with hints of honey. Sweet caramel flavors, light malt and a semi-sweet finish.

330 ml, flaske, 5,0 % ABV, OBS.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is light honey, malt and caramel. Flavour is malty caramel with a hint of honey. Okay I guess.

Bottle, 500ml. A golden beer with a small white head that fades away almost instantly. Aroma is of honey, spices and hops. Taste is slightly bitter at the beginning and at the end becomes sweet. Maybe too sweet for my taste, although I couldn´t find the honey. It has a lot of carbonation and some astringency.

Bottle, 500ml. Clear golden with an almost nonexistant head. Sweet malt and cereal aroma with hints of honey, spices and grass. Medium to light bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Sweet and with an earthy cereal and herbal character not unlike a German lager. Drinkable, but nothing special.
