Gold, small tight head. Simple summer ale - creamy malty body, gentle hop bitterness, and a definite hint of honey. Salty laundered woolly jumper finish (Scottish ale style). Good beer for thirsty pack animals. bhensonb (4189), Woodland, California, USA May 23, 2008 500 ml. bottle. Light honey aroma. Light golden color with little head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor of honey, biscuit and some slightly spicey hop. Interestingly tasty combination. Almost a note of ginger. Whatever, it keeps the sweetness in check. KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 4, 2008 Clear golden with tiny white head. Sweet fruity aroma with caramel notes. Flavor likewise with a touch of honey. Gpnterojd (162), Orangeville, Ontario, Canada May 2, 2008 On tap at Kickoff. Yellowy gold in color. Aroma is floral , honey, and a bit reminiscent of cotton candy. Flavour is grainy, sweet and a little soapy. A tad watery. Decent. Miksu (2194), Jyväskylä, Finland Mar 16, 2008 0.5 l bottle. Golden color with small head. Sweetish, malty, honeyish and fruity aroma with hint of lemon and english hops. Sweetish mellow flavor with focus on malt and honey, some tart fruitiness, low bitterness. Not balanced, needs
more bitterness, acidity or a dryer beer. Fukito (604), Buenos Aires, Argentina Mar 5, 2008 Bottle, november 07. Cear, golden colorwith a medium white head and fizzy carb. Sweet, bittersweet flavor with some honey/ flower notes. Decent. Medium to light mouthfeel, balanced, fizzy and refreshing. A bit short aftertaste. Flowery/ sweet aroma with a touch of fruit and a slight bitter note. Ok, nice but a bit artifficial blond ale.
